Not only was this episode hilarious (Am I being too british?), but also had some good expository plot points in it. Lovvvvved it. They weren't kidding when they said the show really starts to pick up from the sixth onwards, I liked the first five, but these two were just so much better than them.

I just saw Man on the Street last night, finally, and now this. And thank goodness!! Now the show is really good. This is what I've been waiting for! Joss is free to do his thing at last, and it's a beautiful thing that he does.

Oh yeah, I went with "Liked it". For a simple reason. Large chunks of the episode felt like feet-dragging to me. Echo's engagement was over quite quickly, thankfully (yech... more Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian porn... I think not!). But the bits with her running around campus felt like filler for the flashback sequences. They were necessary, but I wonder if there could've been a better way of doing it. Also, I wasn't convinced by Dushku's performance as a girl confused by her emerging memories. The uber-engagement for the Active army was thankfully left as background music. Inoffensive and present to fill the void where needed.
The Topher/Adelle scenes made up for most of the flaws though... their scenes were really well-written and acted.

I voted for Loved It!!
I thought the episode was really well done. Everything with Adelle & Topher was hilarious and for the first time I actually really liked Lawrence. I burst out laughing when I saw him rubbing his jacket.
I also think Eliza was wonderful as Alice/Caroline, especially considering she had to carry most of the drama. The best part...while we laughed at the chaos we also learned a lot of backstory.

Anybody else want to 'ship Topher/Adelle? Tadelle? Or Laurence/suit?

Loved it. The Topher and Adelle scenes, and then any scene with Laurence, post-exposure were just golden.
