Well i'm just saying but the weather is really summerlike on the east coast right now so people are getting excited and spend more time outside, especially on the first very warm evening of the year. I don't know if this has an influence on the ratings but last night everybody was out enjoying the weather instead of watching tv. I know i was.

This is just too annoying. We don't know the demo, but FOX averaged a 1.1 between both Prison Break and Dollhouse, so we know it wont be anywhere near okay. The household rating for Prison Break was a 2.1 and Dollhouse was a 1.9, so we know Dollhouse did worse than the already dead Prison Break.
I think FOX really shot themselves in the foot by airing a PB rerun and new episode last Friday and then have ZERO promotion that Dollhouse was coming back.
My newly found hope for a Season 2 just went down the toilet again.

I'm sure they're probably striking the sets already. All the critical acclaim in the world isn't going to save a show with numbers like that. A show with less than 3 million viewers wouldn't even survive on basic cable.
People just aren't buying what Joss is selling. Too bad. This has been an excellent miniseries.

The Hollywood Reporter says Dollhouse got a 1.2 and Prison Break got a 1.0. So I guess it's not as bad as it seemed, but it's still no where near good.

It's not over until it's over. But let's not play blind. Fox canceled a lot of shows with ratings better than this. I HOPE Joss was already prepared for this and didn't leave us a season-finale with no closure (or maybe Epitaph One, maybe). It would be awesome to have a Dollhouse movie, but it took a long time and lot of top-selling DVDs so Firefly could have it's closure. And he said it doesn't fit with comics (which I TOTALLY disagree). But it's just a lot of maybes and what ifs. As I said... it's not over till it's over  |

NO! Why are you guys so pessimistic? Dollhouse HAS hope. Maybe not a lot, but it does. Don't give up! The next person that says "Goodbye Dollhouse" or "Dollhouse is canceled for sure" will get their face ripped off and stitched back on with thorns. |
