Please read and refer to these rules throughout the game! The first page of the game thread will also have these rules/notes, plus a list of players for your convenience! Challenge 13 will be the Glory/Key-SC 11-game, so you can make your decision to play fully informed! (you of course play both, but time management wise, I figured I would let everyone know.
Vampires, Werewolves and Scoobies
Everyone is on a 'team' by themselves. Each of you will be given an identity, a species. The 'species' left after all the killing wins and each player of that species will get points.
Only you (and well, me) will know what your species is. You may PM others to find out what they are, but be careful, because they could kill you.
**For example, CBG is a scoobie and he PMs Wyndam, who is a vampire and CBG says, come be a scoobie. Wyndam can then either PM the mod (me, spikeluv13) and kill CBG off, or tell CBG to ensoul him and become a scoobie. See more on ensouling later.**
All Killing, ensouling, caging, domesticating, etc PMs would be to me, spikeluv13, the mod of the game. All dice rolling will be done by me as well.
Below is a brief explanation of the rounds, followed by an explanation of parts/special powers. If there is too much info to process all at once, find your character and read the color-coded explanation. J
During the day:
*Vampires are vulnerable
*Vampires need not PM during the Day Round.
*Wolves are considered ‘good’ (think Oz during his time with the scoobies)
*Wolves can kill off vampires
*Wolves PM during BOTH day and night. (It is fair, because one round they are working towards good, the other towards evil!)
*Scoobies can kill off the vampires. This is a ‘task’
*Scoobies can cage wolves, leaving them harmless that next night. This is a ‘task’
*Scoobies also do research.
During the night:
*Vampires can kill off each other, wolves or scoobies.
*Vampires can sire wolves or scoobies
*Vampires and wolves both PM during the night. Wolves are "bad" and can hurt everyone
*Wolves are ‘evil’ at night (think Oz on the full moon)
*Wolves PM during BOTH day and night. (It is fair, because one round they are working towards good, the other towards evil!)
*Wolves can kill each other, vampires, scoobies.
*Wolves can bite/turn vampires and scoobies
*Scoobies need not PM during the Night Round-- Shhh You are hiding!
Each player can perform only one task per day/night. In other words, if a scoobie cages a wolf, they cannot also fight a vampire. 'task' is killing, caging, turning or ensouling. Each player may only do one of these tasks per round.
This does NOT include research. A scoobie may ask about a player and ALSO perform a task. This balances power a little bit more.
So basically:
scoobies can kill vampires, cage wolves
vampires can kill scoobies, wolves, themselves
wolves can kill scoobies, themselves, vampires
we play until only one species is left.
Character Explanations and Special Powers:
Scoobies:
Through 'research' each scoobie can ask (once a round) about one player. The status of that player will be revealed to that scoobie alone. You can do this each DAY round, PLUS a 'task'
You may share this information with whomever you wish, but be careful....they may not be telling you the truth!
Caging a wolf is automatic. You request a wolf is caged, they are. You cannot cage the same wolf 2 nights in a row. If you wish that wolf to not be so wolfy, domesticate it!
Killing a vampire requires a dice roll. Vampires can act 'human' and fool you. You can try to kill the same vampire as many times in a row as you like (unlike caging the wolves). UNLESS you have researched and KNOW that a vamp is a vamp...then the ruse doesn't exactly work, does it? That becomes an automatic kill.
Scoobies can ensoul Vampires (yay for Spike!) and domesticate wolves (think Oz), thus making the vampire/werewolf a member of the scoobie species. BUT it will be determined by roll of dice if it works, unless the other player wishes to switch sides. If that is the case, both players PM me and tell me this. Then, it is an automatic working spell. If the other player has no knowledge, the dice must be rolled. (again think Oz vs. Angelus, Oz allowed himself to be good, Angelus fought it.)
Ensouled vampires will have the abilities of a scooby during the day and can kill vampires or wolves at night. This fits with Spike, etc still. He helps find info during the day, kills evil beings at night. This will also help balance some power.

*Scoobies can kill off the vampires or can cage wolves, leaving them harmless that next night. A task can also include ensouling or domesticating.
*Scoobies PM during the day.
During the night:
*Scoobies need not PM during the Night Round.

Vampires may avoid attack by being 'human' during the day and thus confusing the scoobies. It will be determined by roll of dice if the ruse works. This ruse is automatically used if a scoobie attempts to kill you.
Vampires can sire scoobies and wolves (don't ask me how..they just can!) The other player can agree (then both PM me letting me know) OR a dice is rolled if the vampire wishes to try to sire without the other knowing....(You can drip blood into someone's mouth when they are unconscious, right??) This happens only at night

You can even say, I choose to do nothing, but I MUST here from you! You will not win by hiding in the shadows. I will post on the thread the events: such as, a scoobie ensouled a vampire, or a wolf killed a scoobie! but I will not reveal names and statuses. Each round: day and night, will last 48 hours in real time. If I do not receive a PM from a player during 2 rounds, I will assuassume you are dead and you are out.

1) Everyone can enter, the only person not eligible to play is me. So Mods included.
2) Cheating is not acceptable, anyone caught cheating...well, let's just say you don't want to cheat. Got it?!

4) YOU HAVE TO PLAY IF YOU SIGN UP! if you have some sort of computer problem, etc. please just let me know asap. If you disappear for 2 rounds total throughout the game and don't let me know why, you forfeit your life! (sorry, but we have had problems with non-players) This also means you cannot win by staying so far under the radar, no one knows you are even playing!
5) Once you are killed, you may say one last goodbye on the thread, but THAT'S IT.
