Shadow. It's getting darker with Joyce's upcoming death and Riley's leaving and stuff but this episode reminded me once again why I love Anya.  And the scene, where Scoobies are trying to find something about Glory and she just walks into Magic Box and they don't realize anything, is priceless. |

The last one I watched was Halloween. One of my favorite season 2 episodes.

The last one I watched was Band Candy. I haven't seen that episode in ages, and when Giles reverted back to his "Ripper" ego, I started to think, wow, Giles is hot-- which never occurred to me before.
Best line: "Summers, you drive like a SPAZZZZZ" - Principal Snyder. (So funny!)

The Dark Age. The first episode where we find out Giles wasn't always all book-wormy. It is an interesting backstory to Giles.
I like the line "The first thing we're going to do is..... Buffy?" lol, I love Xander's reaction.

People rate season 4 pretty low on their favorite-seasons-lists, but it's hard not to appreciate the humour of the season.

Interestingly, the title for the episode is "Lovers Walk" indicating that rather than being a path (real or metaphorical) that lovers traverse, it refers to an action performed by lovers - they walk. Any thoughts? I've always been stumped over this one.

Any thoughts? I've always been stumped over this one. Maybe it refers to this: -Oz walks away from Willow -Cordelia walks away from Xander (metaphorically speaking, as she really can't walk yet) -Buffy walks away from Angel It's all about lovers walking away from someone they love. In this episode 3 relationships end. 4 if you want to count Willow & Xander's smooching. |

Beauty and the beasts. Rewatching s3 in this ep, why was everyone freaking out? Xander fell asleep while watching Oz on a full moon night. And someone got mauled. Why would they assume Oz escaped out the window, went and killed someone, then came back to the cage at school? Logic tells me you'd assume that wouldn't happen. Whatever fits the story though i guess. |
