Just finished Tabula Rasa and Once More With Feeling. Great episodes, lots of fun and the very end of both just always gives me a happy, even though everything else sucks lol.

Just finished Lessons, 7.1, I'll be thinking about that all day. Can't say it's the greatest episode, but it's definitely in the top half, and very thought provoking. Except for the more sympathetic principal, and I'm a Robin Wood fan BTW, we come full circle, but with Dawn in the old Buffy role. Early in the episode, Buffy says she has to send Dawn to the "same high school that tried to kill me for three years." And she's right. It was the high school that tried to kill her, not the vampires or witches or sorceror-politicians. Then when Dawn, Kit and Jorge (?) are in the basement, the zombies tell them, "why did we pick you? Because you're the ones no one will miss." And Spike is in the basement. Isn't subtext grand?

Last episode I watched was Welcome to the Hellmouth. It was on Chiller, they were doing a whole Buffy marathon!

As You Were - It weirdly made me like Riley more and less on this viewing. I still don't understand how I'm supposed to believe he was heartbroken for a year yet somehow already married, however Sam is great so I would understand why you would marry her so fast. However he is actually really kind to Buffy, he's honest of course, but even after seeing her in bed with Spike which would be a hot button issue for him, he manages to give her some great comfort. I don't think they're right for each other, but it made me happy for him, and believe he is a pretty decent fella.

Continuing my recently started rewatch, I watched When She Was Bad and Some Assembly Required. Both are pretty meh episodes. I think WSWB is a bit stronger, though. I love the vampire that pretends to be Cordelia. She always makes me laugh for some reason. Maybe it's her fake crying that slowly turns into laughing.

I just finished crush again, what i love about this episode is Dru reaction when Spike admitted to Buffy that he loves her, it was hilarious.

On my rewatch, I just finished Beneath You 7.2. It's not one of the most remembered episodes, but it's excellent work. It contains important continuity scenes about Anya and Spike, it clarifies Xander's position after Anya's departure, and it begins the problematical and forever-different post-rape-scene relationship between Buffy and Spike. It shows Buffy at her very strongest and most confident. Usually, I don't find Buffy very sexy, but this Buffy is different. Remember when she rescued Nancy Tarzan-style? Sadly, I thought the ending scene, Buffy and Spike in the church, was disappointing. I know what they wanted me to feel, but James Marsters just didn't deliver it. He's a fine actor, I guess it wasn't his best day. And I'll grant, the acting challenge was a daunting one.

I was made too love you, again. It was amazing to show the concept of love and that Buffy wants to get comfortable with Buffy(herself).

Lies My Parents Told Me - I love seeing more of Spike's back story. I'm also glad Robin got his butt kicked. I completely understand why he's angry at Spike but at the same time he was irritating me.  |

Honestly, LMPTM isn't exactly my favorite episode, but I like that you like the same things I like about it. |
