I'm currently re-watching Angel Season 5. The last episode I watched was Season 5//Episode 11: Damage.
At first I didn't really see eye to eye with Spike on why he didn't want to tell Buffy that he's alive. In the beginning of S5 he wanted her to know that he came back but once he actually become corporial he changed his mind.He felt that Buffy would no longer see him as a champion. That her opinion of him would change drastically because he's alive again. But at the end of "Damage" it's clear that thats not the only worry Spike should have about visiting Buffy.
Buffy has made it clear that due to Angel working at Wolfram & Hart she no longer trusts him or anyone else who works with him.So another words, she would see Spike as a betrayer of the fight as well. So I guess it's better if he doesn't tell her.But I really would like to hear what Buffy has to say on the subject.See if there's any part of this whole ordeal she can accept.

"Not Fade Away" was the last episode I watched. I finished watching the Angel series for the second time a few weeks ago. I got more emotional over the entire series the second time than I did the first time.
One thing that saddened me the most was Illyrias feelings for Wesley.Even though Fred was gone and Illyria had taken over,The feelings Fred had for Wesley still lingered. Illyria had the memories of Fred's past and who knows maybe her feelings for Wesley were among some of them. Illyria morphing into Fred and holding Wesley was so sad.I cried...again. Although it was a lie, Wesley got to die in the arms of the woman he once loved.
Over all I think it's a very emotional episode. It's sad that it's the last episode of Angel [live action] but it made sense. It made sense that the Angel Investigations team trying to bring down the senior partners even for a moment would show that they arent as mighty as they think they are and for even one moment they can be over powered and out smarted.
Also, The very end when Angel,Spike,Gunn, and Illyria are in the alley and all the creatures are coming towards them..that was fantastic. All of the evil they have been trying to fight coming at them all at once, and though I havent read the comic books yet I imagine since there's a Season 6 that they managed to get out of the fight alive.
Oh, and Lorne killing Lindsay...I have to admit when I first saw this ep I was shocked. I honestly didnt think Lorne had it in him. Lindsay was pissed because he was killed by a green karaoke singing demon instead of his arch nemesis Angel. Although Angel killing Lindsay would have been great, Angel would never have killed a human. Though Lindsay sold himself to the senior partners he's still a human..and that..Angel would never let himself forget. He's worked too hard and too long to try to attone for the lives he's taken in the past..Why start a new body count now?

He's worked too hard and too long to try to attone for the lives he's taken in the past.. So he kills by remote control instead? Gets ' a flunky' to do the wet work?? Right to the wire, Angel is made of gray.

Harm's Way.
I wanted to watch Soul Purpose after that but somehow I got bored. So I watched the whole first season of Damages instead, which is awsome. And I'll watch Soul Purpose as soon as possible.
