Last time I saw Buffy on tv was on the FX network really early in the morning..is it still on there or what? I wish some other network (like syfy) would pick it up so more people would get into the show...it might help revive the animated series.

The pay-for Sci-Fi channel on 'Austar/Foxtel' in Australia had it for a while, but I don't have PayTV so I don't know if it's still there.
Angel is played at 1.30am on Monday nights or something, on one of our -free-to-air- channels. I tape it so it gets a 'viewer'.

I'm fairly certain it's not on air right now at all. I know they used to play it late at night on our local channels years ago, I wish they would do that again. I know Angel runs really early in the mornings here though, I think on TNT.

Yes, Hulu is awesome. I think a lot of the renewed interest in Buffy for new viewers at least comes from Hulu. Totally unscientific evidence-- just from what I have observed from my friends who are new Buffy fans.

Buffy still shows a few times a day on FX in the UK. In fact, it's on right now (10.15am) - "Flooded" is showing. I rarely tune in to be honest, just because I never watch television and have all of the DVD box-sets. When I do, I'm almost always irritated by the ad-breaks, which I've forgotten all about in relation to Buffy, and the censoring of any remotely violent elements.

yeah, it's on during the day on FX in the UK, quite a lot actually they have some big Buffy marathons sometimes and it's on for like, 5 hours
i used to always tune in at dinner time last year when it was on at 6pm aswell but i don't anymore cos there's no TV in this room now back then it was always seasons 1-3 that they showed, they FINALLY moved on to seasons 4-6, then went back to showing 1-3, and now recently they showed season 7
talking of censoring, i happened to catch when they showed The Body, and they cut out Buffys entire scene where she finds her mom i was FURIOUS i don't see the need, there was nothing to censor, it was just death

I watched the series run on FX last year, too, it was the only way I could get my sister into BtVS She adamently refused to watch the DVDs, so I watched on FX, and cos she was in the living room too, she started watching. And now she loves it Same with Angel, that used to air at either 6 or 7pm on the sci-fi channel, so I'd force her to watch whilst we ate dinner. She doesn't like it quite as much as BtVS, but she does like it now.

Maybe we should start a writing campaign/petition for syfy or some other network to pick up the show?

I've not seen Buffy on the box for ages, but only get the Freeview Channels. But if they were on I wouldn't watch now as we have the full series on DVD. A much better way to watch!

It used to come on FX around 4 or 5 in the afternoon, then it switched to early morning, 7 and 8. I used to watch it in the mornings while getting ready for school. And when it came on in the afternoon i used to record it on VHS tape (this was before the DVDs came out, mind you). It also used to come on our local station late at night, around 1 in the morning. I wish it still came on. I have all the DVD's so it does it really matter, but it would be nice to catch some random Buffy ep on TV like I used to (reminds me of old times ), plus, it would increase the fandom, which is never a bad thing! I think SyFy (hate the new logo, btw) would be a great home for Buffy. I don't understand why they don't show it on there. I know TNT shows Angel in the morning and afternoon. I catch the random episode once in a while (but again, I have all the DVDs).

I don't think it is on the air anymore. And I just checked tvguide.com, and it didn't have any listings for two weeks, which makes me think that it probably is not on at all.

Take a minute out of your day and send a email to feedback@syfy.com and tell them you want Buffy.

I think both Angel and Buffy air on the channel Drive-In Classics, as I think I saw them both on there recently when looking through my guide on my television.

I'm in Australia and it definitely still gets shown on Foxtel (pay TV). As Secret Scoobie said.
Generally I think it's afternoons with Buffy shown, then Angel afterwards. It's around 3-4pm though, so hardly getting many people with normal working hours!
