Simple enough question. I'm gauging interest to forward to Diamond Select Toys. Help me out! The poll is about Buffy of course, but here is an example of what Minimates look like (based on BSG)

Definately! They're kinda Palz like, but any new line is supported in my book! There are too few Buffy collectibles being released these days!

I agree. Which is why I'm collecting info, and keeping in contact with the company that distributes these. They currently hold the Buffy license, yet don't have much anymore as far as new product.
I get that Buffy is old, but Minimates are cool and cheaper to produce than 6 inch scale figures. Minimates virtually use the same sculpts with new paint apps and accessories.
I'd personally love to see a collaboration between DST and Dark Horse to give us Season 8 ones.

I liked the old ones they did of Buffy in the early seasons Halloween and The Wish.

Are these things really expensive?
I think they are so cool. I would buy all of them for sure. I would love a little collection.

I would love for them to make Buffy minimates. I think the minimates look better than Palz and are better quality.

This poll isn't getting much votes. If you are looking for lots of votes to pass on then maybe you should make an announcement ;D

It doesn't need to be an announcement. As its nothing the forum is announcing. Plus wouldn't it be announcment number 5 now? Hmm. I actually probably wouldn't buy them. (I know shock horror!) You can announce anything and you can never have too many announcements

I think even if you won't personally buy them you could vote 'yes' kind of like signing a petition. If companies think Buffy fans aren't interested in something like this (which a lot of us actually are) they may think we are not interested in other new lines as well.
I personally will support any new line (that is GOOD and will be loved by at least some of the fans) because otherwise, I fear, they're just going to stop making Buffy stuff period one day sooner rather than later.

Voted Yes. I actually like the Palz better than the Mini's BSG. Seems to be more props/clothing/facial expression variations in the Palz. Sad the company went out of business and we never got a chance at the remaining characters - a frillyria would have been fun.
If they put out more Buffy/preferably Angel as Minis, I'd probably buy them just to set up some bad spock/good spock scenarios. The Palz are seriously easier to display (and dust) then all the 6'" and 12"s I've got.

I voted yes. But I'd much rather have Buffy or Angel Mega Bloks. Because they are very detailed. Much more then Lego or Minimates or Palz

I've already sent an e-mail asking why, why and oh why. I suggested they should start with season seven and work thier way backwards and then release a season 8 wave after the season is complete. I just hope people write and tell them we want them so maybe we get a minimates Satsu.

i'm not a huge fan of the Palz, but i was definatly a fan of the marvel minimates. i still have alot of them. so i would most definatly buy them. i don't understand why dst won't take a hint, because Buffy S8 is really popular right now, and sideshow's tooned up line is really doing well too.

Wow those megablocks POC are really cool! I'd love for some Buffy in them as well. I can see what you mean about detail. It just looks like thee is more they could do with that format.

Well ask DST #55 minimates news is up and I think they have read my letter as i asked about stargate and caprica.
•Retailer support isn’t there for Buffy Minimates at present. •With Caprica and a new Stargate coming up, DST is hopeful that this could mean Minimates from both licenses.
Oh well... Hopefully with the buffy movie comming up we may get some buffy minimates one day.
