Do you think Dollhouse will last?

i am a huge fan of dollhouse, and have already planned the premire night of the second season, but due to the fact i haven't seen an advertisment for the season, or the dvd set, and that it's on fox, do you think dollhouse will make it and have a full run (unlike Tru Calling, or Firefly)?

I sadly think it will die this year cause the lazy bastards at fox won't even promote it until the last minute.

I think it will start off how it ended last year and get more and more viewers. Or maybe thats just me being hopeful

I think if us fans keep spreading the word as much as possible, then I think it'll be alright. It's all about active promoting and word of mouth stuff like that. I've been trying so hard to get everyone I know to watch Dollhouse ever sense I got the DVDs.

I like to be optimistic about things, so I think Dollhouse will last for as long as the true fans keep tuning in and buying the DVDs.

Dollhouse is a diamond in the rough. It's had a rocky start and some people are uncertain where it's going, but there is something worth saving and I think that will help carry the show.

Call me a pessimistic but I'm pretty convinced that this will be the last season.

I've watched it with friends on hulu and they love it, hopefully if people keep spreading good word it'll pick up in it's demo stats.

Man, I really hope it does. I love the show so much and it just keeps getting better. I wasn't into Buffy when it aired so this is my first Joss show that I'm following since the beginning. Please FOX don't take my sunshine away!

I would love to keep a positive attitude, so I hope that we get a season 3. If we do, I think it will be another 13 episode order. Maybe fox will go with this "cable TV" style of short sweet seasons.

I think is were lucky maybe a season 3 but im not thinking this will be around 2 long.

i read something a few weeks ago that said that Joss was talking to an exec from fox and he said they (Fox) expressed interest for a third season... but i'm not sure it could go much past that... it'd be awesome, but there are only so many things Joss could do to extend Caroline/Echo's contract with the Dollhouse which would've expired after then (?) because in season 1, she was in her second year, right? i'm making that up aren't i?

I truely think it will do better this year. I dont know any facts or figures but I have a feeling.

Anyway. Yeah, a feeling. Word of mouth has seemed to go a long way since Dollhouse season one ended. Plus they made a big deal at comic con which may have attracted new fans. Alot of articles have been all over the net after season one and petitions. I think the fanbases online reactions while awaiting season two confirmation attracted lots of people to it and I hope for the best.

I truly, honestly want Dollhouse to go for a five year run. Five seasons of it will satisfy me. But, sadly, I think season 2 is it. TTSCC lasted two seasons, with the rocky start, and Dollhouse is going to do the same thing. I just wish s2 was 22 eps

Don't give up yet - Fox can still buy the remaining 9 episodes and make Dollhouse S2 a full 22 eps.

Don't forget what Fox President Kevin Reilly said to iFMagazine last month:

That said, Reilly says he would be happy with the same numbers from last year to give him confidence to order the back nine and perhaps even a third season.

"We want the same stability we had last year," says Reilly. "The same ratings would be just fine. We’re looking at the cume as well. I’d like to see it continue its creative consistency, which I believe it will and I want to see a show we can lock in to week in and week out."

I trust FOX as far as I can throw the Dollhouse sound stage... but I hope he keeps his word!

I Really think they're gonna give it a 22 episode order... because they already have the mid-season line-up, and Dollhouse is part of that lineup...

I really REALLY want to make it to Season 3 but I just can't see it lasting past Season 2, but I really think the show could go in some really cool directions so here's hoping.
