Hey everyone! I'm new to Slay Alive, but I was a member at BtVS Figs as I Am Me. Well, I was randomly inspired on Saturday. ^_^ I just drew up my idea for "Buffy: Animated". Haha. I based it on a Season Three promotional photo on my phone, so it's pretty generic High School Buffy. The outfit is based on the Series Two Buffy figure. Constructive criticism is appreciated! &hearts

The face and hair look great! The body is great too but the torso seems a tad too slim. I like it over all though! It makes me want Buffy animated to happen

I think it's cool! I really like the style of it. But like the rest I think her head is a bit too large for the skinny body. Buffy wasn't super skinny till the later seasons IMO. Either way she's good! You should take a stab at coloring her!! Maybe I will

Thanks for the feedback!! &hearts
Hehe. And you caught me! I call it a "style" but I'm really just notorious for itsy-bitsy bodies--darn my Nicole Richie love--that aren't in proportion. I'm actually really excited that the head was well received, I wasn't sure the likeness was there. ^_^
I have made copies of the original so I can rework it as I choose. I'll work on a fuller figure, for sure. Maybe some more episode specfic stuff. I'll post whatever I do as soon as possible. Hehe.
And CowboyGuy, I'd love to see what you could do by coloring it!
Thanks again everyone for the input! &hearts

Hey guys! &hearts I have an update! Doing a project for my art class, I decided to go back and rework the original sketch from my first post. H E R E it is: I R E A L L Y altered it. I tried to work on proportions, and fill her out a little more--but she's still relatively thin. Thoughts?

They both look great, but I think the second one is the best one. A bit more meat on her bones and in early seasons she wore that kind of outfit a lot. She doesn't have a killing face on in the 2nd cartoon, but maybe she's about to deliver a witty line before she goes in for the kill. lol

Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for looking and leaving such nice comments! && SlayerLV I totally agree! Haha. She's more than a tad cross-eyed looking at her now. Anywho! I got randomly inspired last night to do a "Prophecy Girl" Buffy sketch in this style, but a bit looser--I was just sketching at the computer. Hehe.

Thanks for replying, guys! && It was all positive--thanks so much! I'll for sure try some other characters--eep! && Cowboyguy--Thanks for the link! It was super helpful, I've since bookmarked it. I added some to my initial sketch, took another photo, and went for coloring it! Eep! I like it all right. Hopefully with more practice I can get to where I like it more. Hmmm.
