I just finished re-watching 'Book One: Water'. From the looks of things, M. Night Shyamalan seems to be staying true to the original material. It balanced humor and action. It had wonderful characters, and action scenes. I'm worried that M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender won't channel as much humor like the television series did. I also just found this: Hot, right? EDIT:Also, I found Appa! Look to far left of the video at around nine seconds. *is excited*EDIT: 3/7/10 9:15pm Just finished re-watching 'Book Two: Earth'. Can't wait to start 'Book Three: Fire'. So much EPICness.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot top post my review of Book Three: Fire. I loved it. I was happy to see Katara with her hair down, she looked much better. This whole season was epic. It was a huge bummer that Mako (the voice actor for Uncle Iroh) passed away. It was so weird seeing Aang with hair. Anyway, the ending to Avatar was perfect!
Also, here is a trailer with new scenes!
And yes, I know I'm double posting but WHATEVER!!! *does the "whatever hand motion signal sign thing"* ;D

Yeah, Book Three was amazing. ;D Filled with awesome episodes. My favorite(s) are in that season, actually; The Boiling Rock Pt. 1 & 2. I will also add this link: www.youtube.com/user/ravenhpltc242This girl makes amazing videos, all of the show. They are so amazing. I recommend them for people, who haven't even watched the show; As most are trailers, and they are all epic. Trust me. And here is their livevideo account, which has a few more videos. www.livevideo.com/ravenhpltc24Like I said, EPIC. Cant wait for this movie!

Found a new trailer that played during the Kids Choice Awards.
And here's the Japanese trailer.

T.T ow.ly/1sMU3This talks about the two major changes made to the film, from the animated series... I don't really mind that much about the firebending change, but the name issue is so annoying. That really pisses me off.

I like Azula because she's a psycho bitca. I wonder if they'll do all three "books" in movie form. If so, I wonder who'll they'll cast as Azula.

I just finished the series a couple days ago (thank you Netflix!), and Azula is totally my favorite character, heh. I've always had a thing for psychotic/bitchy/completely badass girls. The movie looks... alright, I suppose. At least the bending will be fun to watch, even if everything else is screwy.

Azula and Zuko totally pwn every other character. Along with Iroh. <333 Ty Lee isn't too bad either. The Fire Nation has the most interesting characters, IMO.

So excited for the movie! The first time I watched the trailer I was kinda meh about it, because you lose something in the translation from animation to live action. Like, I would not have cast Katara or Iroh as such, but now that I've seen more trailers, it looks really cool. The bending looks pretty legit too.

Heard that this was possibly the lousiest movie of the year (and the year ain't over yet)... I mean, last I checked, it was ranked 6% on Rotten Tomatoes. That's erm... wow. I mean, even New Moon managed to score in the 20s, and I thought it was pretty weak sauce.

Yeah I just started watching the show and I'm really enjoying it, but now I'm not sure if I even want to bother with the movie. I haven't been loving the trailers, but I thought it'd still be entertaining enough. There are some huge fans of the show at my work and a few saw it last night.... and they are pissed.

I am really bummed by how horrible this turned out. I just started watching the show, and I love it, so I was getting really excited about the movie. Three horrible movies in a row for M. Night, after the sub-par The Village. He needs to return to his roots or his career will never recover. Such a shame.

Isn't the man just one giant gimmick anyway? Never actually watched any of his films, but can't say I'm too impressed by what I've heard of his films in general. Usually along the lines of the first two being good (think Bruce Willis is the magic factor?), the rest pretty much amounting to flatulence.

Signs and Unbreakable are brilliant and two of my favorite films, and The Sixth Sense deserves all the praise it got. Other than those three though, M. Night has misfired.

So I've watched this series twice in the span of a month (no snarky remarks about my obsessiveness ), and I'm pretty disheartened to see that it apparently sucks. I'm still going to to watch it sooner or later though, because I'm sure it can't be THAT bad... can it?

I'm still going to to watch it sooner or later though, because I'm sure it can't be THAT bad... can it? I felt the same way, Icy... But I'm starting to think it CAN be that bad. I've yet to read one good review. And this brought me down even more:
