I think you should go re-read Fray. They never named her as Buffy, nor did Urkonn say that the battle banished the slayer's friends (be it the Scoobies, or someone else) to another dimension with the demons. The two stories, Fray and Buffy, haven't been properly tied yet with respect to that apocalyptic battle. I am not saying its going to happen its just my theory lol..Buffy is the last slayer before Fray so they might connect to each other. Fray is trying to figure out what her destiny as a Slayer entails, and also the past slayers. It was hard to understand in your explanation where fact and where theory lie. You believe that in line with the Fray Apocalypse, the Scoobies and Buffy will be sent to an alternate dimension with the demons by Twilight, in efforts to win this battle? If you could write more clearly, with proper punctuation, it will convey your ideas more easily

So basically Twilight will come victorious and banishing all demons from earth to a hell dimension. And Buffy and the gang might gets sucked in with them, so in season 9 their are trying to get back home.
Earth has been cut off from the demon dimensions and the vampires banished by the last slayer, back in the 21st century (this likely might be Buffy finale battle),In the comics , slowly the demonic presence has been creeping back. Vampires have reemerged, now called Lurks. Buffy might find away to get home and then it starting to reemerge demons and vampire back on earth.

Why not just keep Buffy and Co. in the dimension? one like Pylea and with no hope getting back home. No need to if the world is safe from evil and she is with (most) of her firends.

I got another Theory ,what if Harth Fray is Twilight because Harth possesses the prophetic dreams and visions of past Slayers,so he might seen Buffy past and he might result on going back to the present to alter the furture.

Speculation about Twilight's identity should be kept to the Official Twilight Speculation thread.

The sucky part about this is the ramifications of the apocalyptic battle wont catch up to the rest of the verse for awhile. Angel and Spike as of now are probably still 3 to 6 months before the beggining of season 8 timeline wise. Its gonna bug me to cuz we'll see how all the magics and demon banishing is handled but Angel and spike and everything going on in their part of the verse wont be affected lol ughhhh.

I wouldn't hold my breath to see the Buffyverse as a coherent whole again anytime soon. Scott Allie has said that he and Chris Ryall (editor over at IDW) have talked about it before, and for now, they've decided to tell their own stories. Both franchises have slowly pulled away from each other, and at the moment, I personally don't see how they could still be in the same continuity.

I really hope that Buffy Season 8 does not lead to the Fray future. I really don't like the idea of Buffy ridden the world of all Demons(good and evil). I worry about what the Fray future means for Angel, Spike, and Illyria.

I worry about what the Fray future means for Angel, Spike, and Illyria. Joss has already said that season 8 will bridge the gap to the Fray future... not that the main story will jump 200 years into the future, but we'll be shown how things got to be that way. What happens to people like Angel, Spike and Illyria is up in the air. But we are supposed to worry about what happens to these characters.

I worry about what the Fray future means for Angel, Spike, and Illyria. Like Andrew said, S8 will most likely lead to the future we read in Fray. Sorry to disappoint you. Also, if you read the account carefully, it is not said who in fact rid the world of magic and demons; whether it was Buffy or her enemy. That part isn't clear, but should come to light with the telling of S8/9. If Angel reaches continuity with Buffy and the future depicted in Fray (which it most likely won't), then Angel, Spike, and Illyria will be in the same dimension as Buffy, Faith, Willow, Oz, and possibly Dawn as they all have a magical element to them like the Angel cohorts.

I would love nothing more than if Angel, Spike, and Illyria could make a cameo in S8/9... what about Connor? would he be banished? he is Half-demon is he not? or 'The Powers that be' and 'The First'? are they safe being not being in this dimension anyway (or are they?) Such an Epic sotryline I can't wait.

All the good guys might have a huge Apocalypse ,d-day battle of the Buffy verse characters. The cult brings about Twilight, demons go bye bye, fast forward a few hundred years, hello Melaka.

I worry about what the Fray future means for Angel, Spike, and Illyria. Well, there are scenes throughout After the Fall which show brief glimpses of the future, via Illyria's time jumps. Angel appears to have aged, perhaps having turned human. He also has his evil role in the Shanshu look forward to. Spike is still around by the time they have flying cars, and Illyria evolves into a smaller version of her true form. I'm not sure how set-in-stone those visions of the future are, but I think it's safe to say Angel, Spike, and Illyria survive the demon-banishment and are around for a long time.

Yeah, I see Illyria's time jumps as 'what if' visions of the future with the way things are going in that point of time, like being in Hell-A... (maybe they still got out of that dimension if Angel never died or something), and with time being reset who knows. That is just the way I see it. Do you think that 'The Powers that be', 'Wolfram and Hart' and 'The First' are safe from being banished?

I'd be interested to see if Wolfram & Hart survive into Fray's time (if so they'd probably just be a league of evil humans without magic)
The First - now that's an interesting question? Can "pure evil" really be banished?

I'd be interested to see if Wolfram & Hart survive into Fray's time (if so they'd probably just be a league of evil humans without magic) Wolfram & Hart don't live in our world, so banishing magic from it wouldn't directly affect them... just make things more inconvenient. I used to suspect that Boluz and Vrill (from "Fray") were what was left of the Senior Partners after the Shanshu apocalypse. But probably not.

Wasn't there a mention in issue 1 or 2 or "Time of your Life" that there was a battle at starbucks....anyone else remember this?? Mel said that Gates, the demon monkey, was actually the "last great Watcher" who had sacrificed himself at the "Battle of Starbucks." Some people have assumed that must mean the last battle where the demons were banished. I suspect it was just Mel not fully understanding what she was reading, possibly because it was garbled or referring to things from our own time that she doesn't understand. Maybe the final battle starts in a Starbucks coffee shop. Or maybe it starts in an argument over who was the better Starbuck, Dirk Benedict or Katee Sackhoff.

In the future their is absolutely nothing recorded about the Slayer army want Buffy created, so that gives you an idea. , That Buffy going back to the present will result in changes that will mean Fray's future will not come to pass. So it might not connect to fray comics.
Twilight being Buffy's enemy: his ultimate goal is the destruction of all demons and closing the Hellmouths,so I think twilight is probably be victorious .Or probably Buffy.
So if Twilight was victorious and finally ends all demons race so in the fray comics, the demonic presence has been creeping back. Vampires have remerged, now called Lurks. Buffy might find away to remerge the demons and vampire back to reality with the army of slayer and the whole magic thing..
My other theory is that if twilight wants to end all magics so why is dark willow still living in the future all powerful.
UMMMMM interesting..
