People won't even remember Joe in a few years, which shows they don't care much for his music anyway. Most people buying the single are OAPs, young girls and parents wanting a nice stocking filler. Rage will live on for a good while and they still have plenty of fans. They deserve recognition more than Joe IMO.

I felt a little underwhelmed when I heard the result to be honest but last night, drunk, dressed as a penguin, and moshing to Rage in a club everything was suddenly so, so worth it lol

definitely a one off.
I saw the family guy thing on facebook and just rolled my eyes.
Get over it people.
I'm still glad rage got number1 last year though...that damn joe whatshisface is awful. Can't believe he won.

I hadn't heard about this! I love Family Guy but think this should have been left as a one off thing. I have never bought an X Factor winners single (I did buy Alexandra's album and Leona's second album) and doubt I will this year unless someone I actually like wins, which is very unlikely given how these things go

It's possible that I dislike Family Guy even more than X-Factor. I don't think a second stunt would work. I've seen so many groups for different songs, none of them would come together. It's no fun anymore anyway.

I think the Rage campaign was good, but what did it achieve..... The exercise of consumer rights? Capitalism? Anya would approve.
