I think Juliet's name will be first on the final cover. It's well-deserved, that lady did the brunt of the work. She is so dedicated and passionate. What a joy.

I love hearing how dedicated and involved Juliet has been with this project. Very excited to read it.

So it looks like she was in the Asylum, which would mean yet another non canon comic now made canon. The cover is just an homage. It has nothing to do with canon. Just as the Jeanty cover of #15 being an homage to the Seven Samurai doesn't have anything to do with canon. Yeah, my bad. I realized that after i read the interview with Juliet.

Solicitation for #24, out this August:
ANGEL #24
Written by Juliet Landau and Brian Lynch, art by Franco Urru, covers by Urru and Nick Runge.
"Drusilla" herself, Juliet Landau, enters the comics Whedonverse by co-writing alongside Brian Lynch a special two-parter that brings Drusilla into the After the Fall universe. As an added bonus, each issue will feature a special back-up pictorial with Landau, too.
32 pages, $3.99.
Really excited about the extras pictures, that is really cool.

Mark McHaley (who Juliet has mentioned a few times on twitter) now has twitter. He's said the following re: his involvement with Angel:
I'll be finishing up some artwork that Juliet Landau and I have been kicking around ideas for...involving my fave Buffy/Angel character.
Sending in scans of artwork that will be used for Angel issue #24...or #23...I think #24...not sure yet. Published by IDW.

Those are awesome! They seem like unused concept covers instead of actual covers, but they may be used for #25 since #24 already has a lot of covers.

Yeah, #24 does have its cover quota filled. But since there was any info about them at all, I decided to stick them in this thread rather than the #25 thread. I think Sam is doing a cover for #25 too, so I guess we'll see when the Sept solicits come out if either of those are actual covers. The ballet-esque one does seem particularly unfinished and more like an unused concept.

Chris Ryall posted some new details about this issue on his BLOG: Loving the steely look of Fabio's colors, especially since they make Dru pop off the page. It seems like Dru really is in a mental institution of some kind, or a hospital. Also, according to Ryall, it seems like #24 will be out in July, which means we are getting #23 and #24 next month. I left a note on Ryall's blog to confirm, so if that is the case, then yay!

Is anyone here gonna be going to Comic Con? I really want to, but am kinda short on money. I'm gonna try to do it, though. I wish. Even worse is that my family reunion is the week of Comic Con so I will be gone without Internet access when all the news is announced. I love my family reunions, but I really wish it was a different week. So bummed.

*Stares* That Clockwork Orange cover is the coolest thing ever.
So maybe Dru is in some sort of institution to curb her violent urges, like Alex was? Doesn't look like it's working yet.
This is going to be good. I hope JW will endorse it as canon.
