Can't sleep, just enjoyed my favorite pro-wrestling event WrestleMania. Life is good just wish I didn't have to be up in 7 hours for class.

Child's Play freaked the hell out of me when I was a kid. I use to have My Buddy doll when I was a kid, loved that thing, then I saw Child's Play. I tried everything I could to get rid of it including attempting to flush it down the toilet. Eventually my fear of Chuckie went away when I saw Bride Of Chuckie but the fear of a My Buddy doll is still there.

9(2009) The World Of Stain Boy (2000)- had neither Johnny or Helena in it From 2000-2010 Depp has only done 4 films with Tim Burton, Helena did 6. This isn't the only Alice in Wonderland based thing that had Hatter have a more important role. In Syfy's Alice was a main character and fell in love with Alice, American McGee's Alice Hatter's one of the games bosses, There's even a Musical called Wonderland were Mad Hatter has an even larger role as he is the main villain of the story. Tim Burton did not write or direct 9. Shane Acker did. Tim Burton produced it, and that's very far from writing/directing. It was a movie based on Acker's academy award nominated 10 minuite short (I've been forced to watch it many times before it became a movie). So I guess Tim Burton has done a movie without either them in a decade: but just one movie. And I know that Depp and Carter have done movies without them, but like I said, in about a decade (Roughly 7 years), he hasn't done any movies without them. But its only be 4 movies Depp and Burton have done together this past decade. the decade before that they only did 3 together. so in a span of 20 years they worked together. I'd understand being sick of seeing them doing movies together if every year they came out with a movie together. Also from what I've heard whether it's true or not, the only reason Depp got the roll for Mad Hatter was part of a deal with Disney so they could get him back for the Pirate movies. But like I said dont know how true that is.

Almost Alice soundtrack. It's a pretty awesome CD despite me not liking some of the artists on it.

If Wonderland was bright and cheery it would defeat the purpose of Wonderland falling apart cause of the Red Queen's rule. In the flashback scene to the Jabberwock's attack everything was bright and colorful but after it attacked it turned Wonderland into land of depression and despair so the coloring change. Also I'm sorry but people you need to get over this thing you have with Burton and Depp always working together. They work well together and trust each other as a director and actor. I mean if you're gonna complain about them then complain about other Actors and Directors that always work together (ex: Stiller/ Wilson, Apatow/ Rogen/Ferrel/Rudd/Hill/Segel and his wife Leslie Mann). Does it really matter that much if an actor and director have done a bunch of films together? The Mad Hatter is not supposed to have that large of a role, but Tim Burton made it so that he did because Johnny Depp was playing him. That's what bothers me. And frankly, they do make too many films together. Helen Bonham Carter, too. I don't think he's done a movie without at least one of them in over a decade. And since this is a thread about his movie, I think it would be irrelevant to mention other actors/directors that can't get off each other's nuts. And the pallette for the entire movie was muted. Not just in Wonderland, but in the normal world, too. It was an overall desaturated palette. 9(2009) The World Of Stain Boy (2000)- had neither Johnny or Helena in it From 2000-2010 Depp has only done 4 films with Tim Burton, Helena did 6. ugh so we have to sit through 9 more of these stupid "TWILIGHT TWILIGHT TWILIGHT" fads? (I'm counting when it comes out in theaters, when it comes out on dvd and when it steals awards away from movies that truly deserves them) Yeah that was the final nail in my coffin for MTV, when Twilight won all those awards.

Erm... can I throw Scorsese and DiCaprio in for the director/actor partnership lynching too? Or Gary Marshall and his stable of actors that more often than not pop into EVERY single one of his movies. I swear, watching Valentines Day was like watching Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, etc all over again at points. Go for it.

Went to the opening night on Thursday night. I liked it. It was actually the first time I enjoyed a movie in 3D (before I was sooo disappointed by the whole 3D thing). However, did anyone else think it was weird that Alice had a strange attachment to the Hatter? After spending 3 minutes with him she was like "I have to save Hatter! Hatter this! Hatter that!" I was like, whoah, okay you don't know him any better than the other characters that need saving. But I expected the Hatter's role to be overdone because Johnny Depp was playing him. And Tim Burton is practically in love with Johnny Depp (more so than his girlfirend, IMO). Also not a fan of the muted color palette. Tim Burton, just cuz you're known for that, doesn't mean Wonderlnd has to look like that. Wonderland should have tons of bright color (unless it's American McGee's Alice). Other than that, I found it mostly enjoyable. The Hare was my favorite character, and I enjoyed Ann Hathaway's floatiness. I think it's a good movie for kids.
