Is there anything you can tell us about #26 and #27? Or is that being kept locked tight until Comic Con? Is it After the Fall related, post-Aftermath, a jumping off point for the new writer/artist, special issues like the Epilogue/Dru issues? Anything? Thanks! It's AFTER THE FALL related, kinda. It's the complete opposite of the Drusilla issues, both in time period and tone and main characters. It's not a jumping off point, really, but it sets up some stuff that can be paid off later if a writer wants to jump on it.

Since the first part of the Drusilla issue was solicited for August but is coming out this month, does that mean we'll be Angel-less for the month of August? Or are all the titles getting bumped up a month? I have no idea what the scheduling is, I'm sorry. I just write'em and send'em out.

Thanks for another amazing issue Brian! Are there any details you can reveal about the upcoming annual, Last Angel in Hell? Besides the fact that it already looks awesome. Oh man, I think that's gotta wait until comic con. But thank you so much for the kind words about today's issue!

Is the SPIKE: ASYLUM trade paperback currently out of print? If so, are there plans for a reprint? I'm having a hell of a time locating a copy.

Can you update us on the status of some of your non-Angel projects? The movie stuff like Puss in Boots and Sims, but also the comics you've been mentioning on your blog and twitter, like ONE BAD MOTHER and DAYBREAK. Also, is anything happening with either the supernatural series or superhero series you pitched (I think for TV) a while back?

I know, it's a ways off. Takes time to animate and so forth. 2. SIMS is being rewritten by someone else right now, not sure if it will resemble my version all that much, I'm not in the loop. That'll be out next year. 3. ONE BAD MOTHER will find a home, we haven't pursued it yet. 4. DAYBREAK is going to be very, very cool. Sitting down with everyone soon, should be fun. 5. Not sure about the show. I'll ask my manager next time I talk to him. I know FRINGE killed it at Fox, it might be somewhere else eventually.

Will there ever possibly be a for example 5-part mini-series in the Spike-ongoing series that takes place in the past or in the far future(Fray's time or beyond)?

Any plans for something like "Everybody´s Deader" gimmegimmegimmegimme please! I seriously wish. The sequel to EVERYBODY'S DEAD was better than the first one, easily. Much darker and more epic but the five surviving characters really evolved and came into their own. I have absolutely no idea how to make IDW excited about it, however. I had plans for a huge series. Had a definite ending, but man was it going to be an epic journey.

Simple question really, Marvel or DC? I love them equally and read a ton from both.

Make no mistake, I think they would have at one point, to make me happy. But only 5 people read EVERYBODY'S DEAD, so it wouldn't make much sense.
EDIT: Though keep in mind, stores under-ordered the first DEAD series, and the re-orders for each issue were in the top ten for the month, so that's kinda cool.
EVERYBODY'S DEAD will live some day. Just not sure how.

That's lame. The dudes I chill with loved it, for the record. Just a really good story. I hope that you find some way to tell the story of what happens next, even if it's not through comics or IDW.

I should point out that IDW did a great job at making EVERYBODY'S DEAD (and Dave Crosland was Ryall's idea, and thank God for that). I think people were just kinda sick of zombie stuff at that point. Oddly, the sequel is less zombie stuff anyway.

I echo the Everybody's Dead love. I really enjoyed it, and I hope the sequel can be made one day. It seems like Zombies are about to make a comeback later this year with a number of buzzworthy movies (Dead Snow, Zombieland, Colin). Think ABC even has a zombie pilot in the works.

I hope I am not to late I have a question I have been dying to ask you! Do you forget what fan reaction will be who would you like Angel to be with? And if you don't feel comfortable answering that question then I have a substitute one: How long do you think the series will last, I mean do you feel that it could go for ten years or do you feel that eventually there will be a point where there is nothing more to be done with out becoming repeditive?
