Again I'm copying, this time from the Buffy category, but it really needs to be done for Angel too. That show is too good to waste. These are in no particular order. Season 1 1. City of Angel's when Angel jumps in the wrong car. Tina. 2. Kate's comeons to Angel in Lonely Hearts. 3. Angel getting to see the sun again. 4. Being with Buffy and giving it up. 5. Doyle being the hero. ;)6. Faith ;)7. All of To Shanshu In L.A. Season 2 1. Angel in the 50s. 2. Angel and Darla in the old convent. 3. Angel's Trial. 4. Lindsay's evil hand speech. hehe 5. Lorne asking Angel why Mandy? Season 3 1. Darla saying she doesn't want to have Connor and not love him. 2. Angel trying to keep Connor from crying and putting on the vamp face. 3. When the prophecies start coming true. 4. Cordy and Angel's private scenes in Waiting In The Wings. 5. Wesley and Cordy acting out Buffy and Angel's reunion. ;D Season 4 1. Angel's dreams in Deep Down 2. the rain of fire 3. Wesley having to chop off Lilah's head and her "talking" to him. 4. Angel soulless 5. Fred having to stand up to everyone to fight Jasmine Season 5 1. Wesley thinking he killed his father and calling him on the phone afterward. 2. Angel as a puppet 3. A Hole In The World 4. Illyria 5. Connor knowing his real past and telling Angel, he learned it from his father. 6. Angel and Spike in The Girl In Question lol

No particular order.
Season 1
1. When Doyle punched Angel and made that fateful jump.
2. When Angel and Cordy watched Doyle's video after he died.
3. Buffy holding on to Angel saying she won't forget.
4. Faith breaking down in Angels arms.
5. The return of Darla Season 2
1. The beginning of the first episode with Angel, Cordy and Wes walking out of the gym after taking care of business. Such a good power shot of the three of them. I love them.
2. Darla "I could just eat you up."
3. When Dru came back and sired Darla. I was literally on the edge of my bed cause I did not see it coming. That slow rhythmic walk into the hotel room gave me the chills.
4. Angel and Darla get it on. That was so hott.
5. Angel leaving the W&H lawyers to die at the hands of Darla and Dru.
Season 3
1. Darla stakes herself for Connor.
2. Holtz letting Angel walk away. A WTF moment
3. Cordy choosing to become a demon.
4. Angel smothering Wes. Another WTF moment.
5. Connor locking up Angel and putting him underwater. I kept thinking this can't be happening.
Season 4
1. Connor & Cordy get it on. I hate that disgusting moment, but it's one of the first things I think of when I think of season 4. That image is burned in my head.
2. Wes trying to save Lilah by burning her contract. I felt sad for him when he realized there was nothing he can do.
3. Cordy or "Jasmine" or whoever killing Lilah and letting Angelus loose. I remember thinking what in the hell is Cordy's problem. When she said she was the who let him out I couldn't believe it.
4. Angelus bites Faith. Noooooooooooooooooooo.
5. Faith waking up quick to hurry and save Angel.
Season 5
1. Spike asking Fred to help him. My poor baby.
2. Spike and Angel at the Deeper Well. Right as Spike say there's A hole in the World and then there's a shot of Angel looking like he's about to cry. My heart aches for both of them in that moment.
3. When Fred sang to Wes right before she passed out. it was the cutest thing ever. I love that moment and it sucks that Illyria ruin it.
4. Angel, Illyria, Spike and Gunn standing tall at the end. I looooooove that image. Another one that is burned in my brain.
5. Fred asking Wes "Why can't I stay." Another part I choke up at every time.
You know what doing this made me realized I may like ATS a little bit more than BTVS. It's very close.

I love them both but they serve very different purposes. Buffy is my I relate to these girl issues, learning to deal issues. And Angel is a full blown life thing.

No particular order. Season One1. Cordy conquering the ghost in Rm w/a Vu 2. Gunn's introduction 3. Faith asking Angel to kill her in the alley, with Wes looking on 4. The discovery of the meaning behind the word "Shanshu" 5. Angel Investigations blowing up One sentence explaining (for added kicks ) : Cordy finally develops again after breaking up with Xander in Buffy S3, I love Gunn like no one's business, Faith in Angel >>>>> Faith in Buffy up until the last few eps of Buffy, I'm a linguistics major and discovering word meanings is fun, and explosions look cool. Season Two1. Darla. Period. 2. Fred's introduction 3. Angel and Groo fighting 4. Hyperion Hotel's introduction (i.e. all of Are You Now or Have You Ever Been) 5. Angel's epiphany Darla is one of the best characters in the Buffyverse, Fred is so wacky in what little she's in this season, Angel and Groo's fight is like Xena finding a new home, the Hyperion Hotel is one of my all-time favorite TV sets, and Angel's epiphany speech moved me in ways that few other speeches have done since the first time I heard it. Season Three1. Wesley's betrayal 2. Fred's destiny speech 3. Gunn's backstory eps (That Old Gang of Mine, Double or Nothing) 4. Waiting in the Wings 5. Darla's death Wesley's betrayal is one of the single greatest moments of the show, Fred's destiny speech is quirky and insightful and oh so fun to listen to, I love Gunn (part two: episodes where he actually develops separate from Fred!), Waiting in the Wings is cinema-and-ballet-having-sex-so-loud-the-walls-explode, Darla singlehandedly becomes one of the best moms on TV with her sacrifice. Season Four1. Anytime Faith was on-screen 2. Fred throughout the entire season 3. Jasmine and Angel's argument at the end of Peace Out 4. Home 5. Angel and Connor together at any time See above re: Faith in Angel, with added emphasis to the fact that Angel S4 and Buffy S7 take place around the same time, Fred has the best character arc of the season, Jasmine and Angel's argument is one of the best iterations of fate versus free will (even in a post- LOST world), Home is both a game-changer and incredible all-around episode, Angel and Connor are estranged-father-and-son relationship embodied. Season Five1. Anytime Amy Acker is on-screen 2. Anytime Spike is on-screen 3. Conviction 4. The Wolfram & Hart set 5. Proper ending to an amazing show Amy Acker brings Fred to a roaring conclusion and then adds more heat as Illyria, Spike brings new flavor to the show that adds to the ambiguity of working for the enemy, Conviction is both an incredibly awesome episode and a rarity of Joss-written premieres in that it's actually critically hailed, the Wolfram & Hart set is second-favorite of mine after the Hyperion, and few people know how to go out in style like Joss Whedon (.......OK, maybe J. J. Abrams).

I pretty much agree with all of your choices Hellbound Hyperion. The only difference is I love Gunn but those are not my favorite moments of him. The one where he's walking through the street looking all bad with Gangsta's Paradise playing is a really cool moment though.

Off the top of my head, so probably not 100% accurate, and might change my mind later. Also, posted in a general ranking order.
Season 1:
5) "And lady, the bitch is back." Cordy tells annoying bitch ghost to shut up. Awesome.
4) Doyle's 'commercial' after his death. Such a sad, yet poignant, death. Watching this video was a nice summary to his character, and made his death so much more depressing.
3) Faith wants to die in the alleyway. Faith herself has realized she's gone too far and desperately wants to die to atone for her mistakes.
2) Cordelia's epiphany. After the horrible pain she has to suffer in the finale she dedicates the rest of her life to trying to help people. What an amazing way for her character to grow.
1) Kate's speech in Sense and Sensitivity. By far one of the best monologues in both Angel and Buffy, definitely in the top five in my opinion. I especially love the line "Worms and dirt and nothing forever. Not one word of a better place." Brings me to almost-tears every time. (I'm a robot, I've never cried at a television show, but I get close a lot)
Season 2:
5) Are You Now or Have You Ever Been? This episode was just such a well done origin story. If I had to choose a specific moment it would definitely be when the girl (whose name escapes me) about to be taken by the hotel residents points the finger at Angel.
4) Angel desperately tries to save Darla from dying, braves the three tasks of the Trial only for life for her not to be granted.
3) The end of Over the Rainbow. All convinced they are going to die horribly they are instead greeted by Cordelia sitting in a throne, golden bikini and all.
2) Kate tries to kill herself, Angel has an epiphany. I love when he tells her about the bigger picture, there isn't one. If nothing we do matters in the long run, then everything we do now matters, to try and make the world a better place now.
1) Angel shuts Darla + Drusilla in with the lawyers. Did not expect it. At all. Then following up by firing Cordy, Wesley and Gunn, just wow.
Season Three:
5) "Anyone moves and it'll be miracle triplets." Not the exact quote, but man, I love when Fred gets crazy. It was hilarious.
4) I'm really torn, so I'm putting Billy as a whole moment. Whether it be Lilah killing the jackass, or Wesley becoming positively terrifying, both were amazing moments.
3) Angel descends into the ocean, Cordy ascends into a proverbial heaven. Yes, the special effects were cheesy on Cordy's part, but I just love the dichotomy of the situation. Both were going to admit their feelings, and then torn just so far apart.
2) Cordelia accepts the consequences of inevitable death and incredible pain in order to keep her visions. Luckily, Skip then says he'll give her demon powers, so she doesn't have crazy pain all the time.
1) Darla stakes herself for Connor. Best ending for a character ever.
Season Four:
Honourable Mentionable: Lilah goes right under Linwood's head. Lilah goes full on heartless.
5) Lilah is seriously concerned for Wesley in Habeas Corpus, only to be broken up with. I especially enjoy how the episode begins with her being so concerned, and seriously hurt when she is broken up with, and then ends with her, still hurt, but obviously out of some respect/like tells Wesley about Connor being trapped in Wolfram and Hart with the Beast.
4) Fred tasers Connor when she discovers that he sunk Angel to the bottom of the ocean. I just love how she starts off so nice, begins to pity him, and then moves to full-blown rage.
3) Angel convinces Faith that life is worth living in Orpheus.
2) Lilah offers the gang Wolfram + Hart for preventing world peace. I mostly liked this moment because I a) hadn't realized that they essentially had destroyed world peace (in favour of free will, which I agree with) and b) I was missing me some Lilah.
1) Fred shoots Jasmine, and Angel in the Magic Bullet. I had forgotten Fred's survival skills and how powerful she could be in that sense, and this episode just reminded me.
Season Five:
5) Harm's Way. I love this episode. And I don't care who knows. I also love Harmony. And I love how she was genuinely trying to gain the respect and affection/friendship from people. I think I'm one of the few people who thinks she has grown quite a bit since high school. The whole episode she's desperately trying to gain a connection, and at the end, realizes that the whole gang doesn't hate her. I really liked it.
4) Spike and Angel fight in Destiny for the cup of ... mountain dew. As someone who hasn't been the biggest Spike fan, to get me to root for him was quite a difficulty, but the flashbacks mixed in with the main storyline just made me hope that Spike got to that cup first.
3) "Let's go to work." Swords clang, credits roll. I am on the side that it was an excellent way to end the series. Essentially an inevitable death, but all of them keep fighting.
2) "Oh, and you're welcome." Poor Cordelia. I really wish Charisma Carpenter and Joss Whedon had their little tiff, cause there was still so much potential in Cordelia's character. Despite my personal opinion that she should have come back as a full time character, this was a nice finale to her character.
1) Fred's change to Illyria. If I had to choose a specific moment from A Hole in the World, I would definitely choose Fred getting out of the lab, and then attempting to work the problem herself. When Wesley tries to convince her to lie down she responds with someone akin to "I lived in a cave for five years where people were slaughtered like cattle. I am too good for this." She really is. Sooo heartbreaking.
And there you have it. My list.

In no particular order for any of them
Season One:
1. Cordelia's speech to bitch-ghost. 2. Angel's silly dance in "She" 3. Buffy and Angel's time warp shenanigans 4. Faith wanting Angel to kill her 5. Darla's reveal. Seriously shocked the crap out of me.
Season Two
1. The opening power shot. Cordelia's so cool. 2. Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been? 3. Darla. The episode and character. I'm a fool for specific character background episodes. 4. Dru's cool walk in and she says something like "eyes like a big brown cow. moo" hahahaha. 5. When Lorne's brother or whatever is talking about how the monster thing is taking food for later and Cordelia's like "Food?....Oh, you mean people...*disgusted* OHHHH, YOU MEAN PEOPLE"
Runner ups: Season Two was just so full of amazing things I'll just continue. When Angel smelt Cordelia's Hair. Disharmony. Cordelia being totally nonchalant in Pylea when the guys are brought to her. Dear Boy. When Lindsay slaps Lilah's butt and blames it on the hand. So many more.....
Season Three
1. When Cordelia and Wesley making fun of Angel and Buffy 2. When Cordelia tells Angel Buffy is alive. Don't know why, just gives me chills. 3. Darla talking about her love for Connor and the staking. 4. When Cordelia punches Darla. 5. Waiting in the Wings. Amazing.
Season Four:
1. Cordelia at the end of Deep Down when she's with the PTB and says something like. Okay, BORED NOW. 2. Gwen. 3. The Beast=SCARY. The way the character was shaped he should've been clunky and cheesy but he was SCARY. 4. Release. My favorite Faith moments. Opening with the shower. Angelus asking her if she wants to die anymore and she screams no or something. Then the fight. Awesome. 5.Lilah's line. "This is the offer of a lifetime. Just..not..mine."
Season Five
1. Harm's Way. Amazing. Hilarious and SO GLAD that Harmony got a cool fight scene. 2. You're Welcome. Cordelia is my favorite Angel character and got an amazing send off. 3. A Hole in the World and Shells. "Why can't I stay?" and the talk with Wesley at the end and then Fred flashback driving to LA 4. In the Hole in the World when Fred yells about her not being a "damsel in distress" 5. Illyria's would you like me to lie to you now. Then red man thinking she's some tiny human and girl and Illyria is all like BAM! "SUCK IT!"
Also, when Spike talks about the last time he was in Italy or whatever and there was that little flashback with him in Dru standing there in those seventies clothes in black and white just saying "chow" or something over and over and over.

Season 1 1)Doyle's Sacrifice and the Video afterwords...no Whedonverse death has ever made me cry so much... 2)In the Dark- I watched this for the first time after watching all of the Btvs Seasons...Seeing 'Evil Spike', Oz, and with the Angel gang was awesome 3)To Shanshu in LA-It was then that I started to really care for the lives of Cordelia, Wesley, and Angel. And the ending....WOW. 4)Faith's return...she's such an epic character. And the Wesley/Faith scene's were especially good! 5)City of-Where it all started 6)War Zone- The Introduction of Gunn! Season 2 1)Pyleah-EPICNESS. Love Lorne, Love Numfar =D, Love the fun! I was getting very tired of the over-darkness and Pyleah was nice and happy! 2)Wesley pretending to be Angel in Guise will be Guise...that was hilarious 3)Lindsey and 'the hand'. That made me love Lindsey- he's so funny and hot! 4)Angel meeting up with the girl (i forget her name) at the end of Are you now or have you ever been? 5)The Three trials to save Darla...The last two especially. It made me realize how much of a hero Angel really is...and the ending. Didn't see that one coming Season 3 1)When Cordy/Wes are teasing Angel/Buffy 2)The end of Tomorrow....EPICFULLNESS!!!! 3)Birthday- Cordelia really has come very far from the school bitch on BTVS. What she did for Angel was sooooo sweet, 4)In Carpe Noctem when the old man in Angel's body thought that Wesley was Fred. Soooo funny! 5)Fredless- After that episode I loved Fred's character Season 4 1)Everybody reverting to their teenage selves...Wesley the head boy, Liam, Cordy the bitch, Fred the pot-head, Gunn the...gunn 2)When Angel turned to Angelus....I totally fell for the entire dream-thing (and I thought it reminded me of Indiana Jones, too!) then the laughing...creepy 3)Home- Getting Wolfram and Hart and getting rid of Connor...two choices that made up for a great Season 5! 4)When the gang figured out that Cordy was evil...With Lorne and the Crazy 8 ball 5)Lorne in Vegas-so funny Season 5 1)Your Welcome- A nice tribute to Cordelia and Season one of Angel. Angel and Cordy fight Lindsey (and they had a clip of Doyle too! yay!) 2)Not Fade Away-A nice finish...Lorne killing Lindsey, Spike doing poetry, Wesley's death, the final look 3)Spike and Angel fight for the cup...of mountain dew!Plus, I was so conflicted over who I wanted to win. 4)Life of the Party- Eve/Angel, Gunn 'marking his territory, Lorne-centricness,Spike being hilarious, and a Drunk Wes/Fred 5)Puppet Angel! 6) A Hole in the World- SO SAD! And Illyria was cooliness

No real order on any of these.
S1:
Doyle dies. I wanted to put "Doyle in general" but his death hit me harder than anything in the first 7 years of the buffyverse.
Phantom Dennis. Best non-character ever? Im still waiting for my closure for him Joss.
Lindsey. His ambiguity in the last couple of episodes showed me that this show wasnt about "Big Bads" in the way Buffy was. It was about real people struggling with the real world and all the issues it brings.
Cordelia and Angel becoming BFFs. Of the original Sunnydale 6, Cordy and Angel were just there as love interests for Xander and Buffy respectfully. I greatly appreciated the 2 outcasts of the lot becoming the most believable bond in either series by the end of the TV verse.
Faith. She was in more Buffy episodes, but it feels like her REAL story occured in the 5 Angel episodes she was in.
Yeah, ill have to do the other ones later. Im spent right now.
