If you were to writie Season 8 of Buffy. What would you do? How would you do it? I don't mean based off of the Official Season 8 comics. I mean of your own ideas, and arcs. What would your season 8 be like? I...myself. Am going to be writing two un-canonical versions of Season 8. One that continues on from the novel "Queen of the Slayers" and one that continues from "Dark Congress".

I think he means if there wasn't a season 8 and all.....
I think i would make it the last Buffy. If i did do it. I would tie it into Fray and make it that Buffy is the reason for no magic and such. Give her a hero's goodbye. Maybe even Willow finally meeting back with Tara but i would have to kill Willow to do that. I'm not a fan of bring dead characters back.

Joss might still do it. If he was telling the truth about his original plans for season 7 and not just making things up to shut up the fans, I have no doubt he will come back to it eventually.
My season 8 would involve pirates and mystical super-apes from beyond the moon.

I think it would be nice if Joss did that story in "season eight". It would have been more touching on television, Alyson is such a good actress, anytime she cries it's completely believable. I still think he could pull it off in the comic, he's such a good writer, and that story was a great idea.
If I was writing "season eight" I would have definitely written the first arc differently, it wouldn't have been so far removed from the Buffy we knew.

Alyson Hannigan IS a great actor, she can pull off anything it seems. A few days ago I had family over for Christmas and my aunt saw the Buffy posters on my wall. We got to talking about the show and she said that she had a hard time watching it because Alyson was such a bad actor. I declared shenanigans on the spot. That's absurd. She's a terrific actor. She doesn't have a limited range, she just plays a character who's consistently cheerful.

I'd chuck the high-tech gadgetry out the window for a start.

I think I would do something with Dana, that Slayer who was on Angel and had the whole multiple personality thing going on.
I'd have Willow have frequent visits with her in which she goes into her mind and tries to keep Dana the dominant persona. Eventually Dana loses herself though and the personality of a darker slayer from the past assumes control. She eventually goes on and tries to start a Slayer rebellion.
Might sound a bit cliche but I'm still working out the kinks lol.

Without the comic plots for ideas I doubt I'd think too much about continuation. The way the comic stories have gone for both Buffy and Angel make it apparent to me that the television series' both ended at a point where the story structure was to change dramatically. Angel in Hell-A, and Buffy globe trotting with hundreds of soldiers; try to imagine that translating to small screen lol.
I quite like the idea that everyone died in that alley in Angel; and all still just exist, like Wes in the comics. My mate believes undoubtably that they all died and Angel is in heaven with a white leather jacket hehe. As for Buffy, I never gave it much thought. Just kinda had a feeling that she'd be, well, doing whatever she wanted lol
