I just finished watching Season 4, suffering through just to get to the Jasmine arc as it's one of my favourite plot arcs of the whole Buffyverse. Anyways, at the end of the arc after Angel reveals Jasmine's name, and she loses her influence over people, Angel attempts to sway Jasmine over to his side. Asking her to help improve this world one demon at a time just as Angel Investigations had been doing.
So my question is, what if Jasmine decided to stay with Angel, would you have liked that? What are some plot points you would love to see developed? What characters should interact with her?
Personally I actually would have liked it a lot. The only problem being that she is a Power so she would have almost limitless knowledge on many subjects, so I feel they would need to work out that kink somehow.
I was really intrigued by the whole plot line of Illyria and her coming to terms with no longer being a God and what can she be. I think Jasmine could have had a similar plot line but rather focus on her growing to love humanity the way it is now. While she was placing people under her influence she was being incredibly unrealistic with her whole love everyone spiel, and it would have been an interesting plot arc to see her try and amend and adapt the everyone love everyone idea she has in her head.
Plus, I think interaction between her and Illyria would have been intriguing and also probably hilarious. They are both super powerful deities yet act and behave totally differently and have totally different mindsets. Plus a fight between them would probably be epic.
