Here's a complete look at NBC's fall lineup, including sneak peeks and all the deets ya need to choose your shows. Lots of good new things on the horizon for NBC. I'll probably watch most if not all of them and see what sticks. The Cape will be one to watch come midseason, of course.

I'm glad that The Cape was picked up, but other than that there isn't much to get excited about. I love The Office, Parks and Recreation and especially 30 Rock, but I've known for a while that they've been picked up for their seventh, third and fifth seasons, respectfully.

The only NBC show I really like is The Office, definitely will be watching when it returns. I also saw the preview for The Cape today. It looked really good, except the kid was a bad actor. Oh, and it's not NBC, but Glee for sure is returning! So excited...

It looked really good, except the kid was a bad actor. I know! He was terrible. Yeah, he's just kid, but come on. They could've found someone better. Oh, and it's not NBC, but Glee for sure is returning! So excited... Yep. ;D

The Event sounds like it could be very good. Serialized drama is becoming quite rare these days, so I hope for the best with any new one that comes along. I just hope it's actually smart and compelling, and not watered down (like FlashForward). I'll also definitely check out Undercovers and The Cape.
NBC needs some good shows...badly. Fingers crossed that some of these will be good.

Alright, so I went through all the sneak peeks for the new shows. First: what I'll be watching: YES Undercovers The Event Love Bites The Cape Outsourced Perfect Couples
MAYBE (give it a few episodes, see what sticks) Chase Outlaw Harry's Law Friends With Benefits The Paul Reiser Show
NO WAY none In general, I was blown away by the quality of the comedies. Perfect Couples had me at "Olivia Munn" but the rest of the cast is great and the writing was funny. "Friends With Benefits" gets a pass for humorous sneak peeks, but firing Fran Kranz does not put me on their good list. Outsourced won't rub everyone the right way, but there were some genuine LOL moments in the previews and I have confidence they can make this into a good pairing with Community. The dramas were also good, with a few duds. Chase smacks of procedural (the bad kind) although the leading lady is kinda badass. Outlaw is going to live or die on the writing, though the lead character is kinda cool. Kathy Bates steals the show on Harry's Law. On the plus side, Undercovers looks like Abrams back at the spy genre in a good way. The Cape is going to be awesome. The Event is like the best parts of every major show in the past six years that has said it was "inspired by LOST". I'm excited. This may be a turning point for NBC.

I'll be interested to see how Olivia Munn does in a scripted comedy. She is definitly funny on ATOS (I wonder if she will be gone for good now) but her short stint on "Greek" did not leave any particular impression on me. The Waitress from "It's Always Sunny" is on "Perfect Couples" as well, so that's a win. It could turn out to be a good show. I like the concept of "Outsourced" and hopefully it will be funny while addressing some social issues as well. On another note, FOX has announced their Fall Schedule: hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2010/05/17/fox-announces-prime-time-schedule-for-fall/Human Target is moving to Fridays to die, while Glee moves to Tuesday for good. Running Wilde could be promising with Will Arnett and Keri Russel. There's also a show called Terra Nova that is executive produced by Steven Speilberg and and David Fury. It has yet to be schduled but hey, David Fury!

She has stated before that she is dedicated to doing both, no matter what it takes. I imagine it won't be too difficult - she and Kevin are often gone for whole weeks doing shoots for AOTS, so the rest of the hosts are capable and recognizable enough to fill in if she has to do a shoot for the series. I don't want Human Target to die! But at least Kevin Reilly had some faith in it - this guy's really running a tight ship over on FOX. Nobody else would have renewed HT and Lie to Me like that. Expanding American Idol to 90 mins while cutting the results to 30 and moving it all off of Tuesday lets them set up Comedy Tuesdays (and shows faith in Glee's ratings - as any idiot would, of course ). So that's cool. Now all I gotta see is trailers/sneak peeks for the new shows. FOX really wanted to come back to comedes moreso than dramas, I know, so I may not be watching nearly as many FOX shows this year. House (on DVR/Hulu), Glee, and Human Target are all givens for me, of course. (ETA: and Bones, Fringe, and Lie To Me of course! Thursday nights remain FOX-only for me. )

Loved the latest Big Bang theory about Leonard and Sheldon's first interactions, particularly this bit (Spoilers)
Sheldon: Roommates Agree that Friday nights shall be reserved for watching Joss Weadons brilliant new series "FireFly". Leonard: Does that really need to be in the agreement? Sheldon: Might as well settle it now it's going to be on for years.

ABC's schedule is out: hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2010/05/18/abc-announces-fall-2010-schedule/Not really much new from ABC that I am excited about. "No Ordinary Family" is another Superhero type drama with Michael Chiklis; while the concept isn't new I like Chiklis so I will give it a shot. The comedies off the bat don't sound too exciting, but I like Joanne Garcia and Elisha Cuthbert enough to give their shows at least one watch. Oh, and I forgot that Julie Benz in on No Ordinary Family, so that's cool

My Generation and No Ordinary Family are the only shows that are piquing my interest from ABC. I have a feeling next year won't have as many standout new shows as this season did: Community, Glee, Justified, Modern Family, Parenthood, Vampire Diaries, V (which isn't great yet, but entertaining).

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. No Ordinary Family's pilot is getting rave reviews (AND IT HAS JULIE BENZ IN IT SO WHY WOULD YOU IGNORE IT OH MAH GAAAWWWD), but otherwise... nothing very exciting. And V looks like it's gonna be a midseason replacement. Plenty of time for me to catch up. Otherwise... well, now's as good a time as any to catch up on Castle, 'cause I've got no other reason to watch ABC.

This link includes the CW schedule as well as a nice comprehensive grid of the entire fall sked. www.aintitcool.com/node/45184Supernatural is moving to Fridays with Smallville, which is entering its 10th and final season. Life Unexpected is back (Yay!) and so is One Tree Hill (meh). Not alot of new shows on the CW, just Cheerleading drama Hellcats with Ashley Tisdale of HSM and Nikita based on La Femme Nikita. "Nikitia" has been done before, but we'll see if any new life is brought to that concept.

I'll probably only check out Hawaii Five-O on CBS. Not really a fan of the network in general, as I only watch HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, Survivor and Big Brother.
Nikita is being produced by McG’s production company, so I’m hopeful it will be entertaining. While most of his movies suck, his production company has brought us some great shows: Chuck, Human Target and Supernatural.

So far, "No Ordinary Family" and "The Cape" are the only two announced shows I'm planning to make an effort to look into.
I hope they both don't make the mistake the "Heroes" writers made, falling too in love with "big mystery" plotting and forgetting that it was a character-driven show. Stan Lee knew 50 years ago that good superhero stories are about the characters, not the plot, and pretty much all good superhero stories since then have kept that in mind.
