Check it out HERE. Covers a wide variety of topics, including Buffy, Caprica, Torchwood, and Dollhouse. Some spoilers about various things (e.g. the Riley one-shot) scattered throughout. Enjoy.

I'm glad she said that. That's the first time I've heard anyone on the creative team put it that bluntly.

Well, she did say that she shared some of Anya's bluntness.

Thanks for posting this wenxina, very interesting interview. Confused about the 'which timeline' comment too...

Thanks for posting this wenxina, very interesting interview. Confused about the 'which timeline' comment too... Oh baby!! I think Jane's timeline statement may be the mother of all spoilers. There is no context for her ask that. Not in regards to the story as we know it so far. VERY interesting. Timelines don't necessarily mean time travel. Hmmm...

I'm kind of surprised the rest of the fandom hasn't jumped all over that line... maybe to Jane's relief.

So let's suppose time diverged into two or more seperate timelines, what could have been the catalyst and when at what point in time did it happen? Covers would suggest sometime before season 8. Maybe when Buffy died the first time? Maybe she wasn't supposed to come back at all. Ever. Maybe it was something else?

I think it was a badly phrased way of saying "there are two ways this can go."

Yeah I think Jane's "which timeline" comment was not about the story, but rather a hypothetical statement saying that in her mind Buffy could go down two different paths. One leading her to bitterness and another leading to happiness.

One leading her to bitterness and another leading to happiness. Yeah I agree. That makes the most sense to me and I wouldn't read any more into it than that at this moment.
