What would be the perfect "Willow" series for you?

I was thinking of Willow's upcoming series for s9 and I'm so excited!

For the artist, I'd like Cliff Richards to do it. He does a great likeness of Alyson Hannigan! I've always admired his work from the later DH Buffy comics and I think he'd be a perfect fit! I think that Karl Moline's work was far too cartoon-y for the Willow one-shot. If CR does the Willow series, I might hesitate to buy it. :\

As for characters, I'd like to see Willow (obviously), some appearances by Kenendy (hopefully to kill her off or maybe to show a different side of their relationship. I haven't liked Kennedy...ever, but I'm willing to give her a shot!). I would LOVE to see Tara, which I don't think it out of the question, considering her appearances that have occured in season 8. However, I don't want her to appear as just a dream. I want to actually SEE Tara whether she's a spirit or alive or undead. I just want Tara back!

I think Amy would be a really great villain. If not just to start off. I've always loved the dynamic of Willow and Amy and I really hope she survives season 8. I think it would be wise to bring back and explain the "spirit guides" that we saw in LWH and the Willow one-shot. I've been curious about them.

Also, kind of nit-pick-y, I hope they use the logo that they used in the one-shot. I really liked it!

I pretty much agree with everything you said, but I´d like too see Saga Vasuki as a character too. Maybe she could find a way too enter this dimension and morph into a human, that way she could be more involved with Willow.(in both senses of the word)

I'd like Karl Moline as the artist. He's done a good job in the Buffy verse so far, and fits the world really well. To be honest I hope it's a short series because I would prefer Willow being in Buffy.

Mainly I just want Willow to have all her powers in season 9. Willow without magic won't hold my interest for very long. And I think the magic side of things has quite a lot of potential and they should try to develop it more just like they've done with the vampire stuff over the seasons.

I don't want Tara coming back, though. But I think I'll have a lot less problem if she does come back than you'd have if she doesn't. If she does come back, they should do some flashback stories which give their relationship more meaning. Season 6 left me wondering how much of her reactions were because of Tara and how much out of her addiction to magic. But I definitely don't want her to come back in an "alive" alive manner - the death worked for me.

As for artists, I liked Moline's work but I lack imagination when it comes to that sort of thing. Maybe someone else will do better or maybe Moline changed his usual style to keep it more consistent with Jeanty's Willow. Dunno. I don't really identify Willow with Moline so I won't mind someone new.

Basically, I just want to see her in a nature vs. nurture / strong personality vs. weak personality (?) kind of struggle which I kind of see in Angel/Angelus. >
