I have never read that. Witchis kinda odd now that I think about it because I read ALOT. Maybe I will add that into my current mix. Is it a long book? Not really. It's around 200 pages I think, maybe less, but it reads quickly. It took me less than a week to finish, and I was also reading a couple of other books at the same time. I've still barely made a dent in Atlas Shrugged, and I've been reading a lot of H. P. Lovecraft short stories.

I am reading Spike and Dru: Pretty Maids All in A RowDid you win that in my contest in December? I'm reading DOPPELGANGER by Charles Crane. It's very good so far. But I had to set it aside for about a month for other things I HAD to do. I recommend people go to Amazon and buy this book. And I don't just say that because the author is my perv grandpa. I say it because my mom and I have passed it on to some people and no one has had anything bad to say about it yet. They all love it. I am also going to start reading the last Buffy novel this week, ONE THING OR YOUR MOTHER by Kirsten Beyer, and hopefully interview the author over it.

I'm reading Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice for about the 10th time. Wonderfully written book. I have all of the books in the Vampire Chronicles but I just can't seem to get enough of that first classic one in the series.

I've never read any Ann Rice. Maybe I should check her out.
I just started Under The Banner Of Heaven: A Story Of Violent Faith by Jon Krakauer. Its about fundamentalist Mormons and the faith's connection to this frakking horrible murder. I'm not a Mormon, I was raised Catholic and I am pretty anti-organized religion. But strangely enough I love learning about other religions. Although I probably wouldn't have picked up this book had it not been in the true crime section. I'm a true crime buff. Anyone else like true crime?
I also want to pick up the last Buffy book just for old times sake.

I don't really care for Rice's writing style but damn can she tell a good story! I don't just say that because the author is my perv grandpa. You didn't tell me your grandpa wrote it when you were recomending it to me

Right now I'm reading "Next" by Michael Crichton. It's a bit weird so far, but hopefully it gets better as I go along.

I'm currently reading Kushiels Justice. I adore Carey's novels and the Kushiel books are absolutely wonderful. I'm excited for the next in the series and I'm so anxious to see what her other projects and new Kushiel story arcs are gonna be. Definatly recommend these books.

Just finished re-reading the Fray comic, also reading Halting State by Charles Stross. Recently read Nymphos of Rocky Flats by Mario Acevedo, which was a hilarious and interesting vampire-detective story and I think there's a sequel I'm going to check out soon.

^If you like the whole Vampire detective thing, try Tanya Huff's series, I think the first one is Blood Price, they're very good, and the TV series they've been made into is great too.
Deja Dead, by Kathy Reichs, been going through my Temperance Brennan series again. They're nothing like Bones the TV series at all, but both are good in their own ways.

I have been hearing fun things about "Blood is the new Black". I read that it is like "The Devil Wears Prada" combined with Buffy!
