Anybody reading HPVII when it comes out?
My Theories:
One prediction I have is that Severus Snape was at one time in love with Lily Evans. Sometimes you're cruelest to the one you love the most. Call me crazy, but that's just the impression that I get. It's a very long shot, and completely unlikely, but I really do believe that's what happened. I believe that every time Severus Snape looks at Harry, he sees someone else. Someone that isn't James Potter.
I believe that a member of the Weasley family will die.
I believe that Peter Petegrew will be useful in a Gollum-esque way.
I believe Snape is one of the good guys after all, and that he and Harry will have a serious conversation in book VII.
I believe Snape will die.
I believe Neville Longbottom will be a major character in this book.
Most of all, I think we're going to learn some very important things about James and Lily Potter.
I believe we're never going to know everything.
And I believe there is a horcrux at Hogwarts.
I guess that's all I've got right now, but there may be more.

I'm a huge late comer to the Potterverse, only first set my hand on the first book on Tuesday at our monthly Chicago SF meetup. One of our couples is moving out of town and rather than move all their books with them they had a book give-away at our meetup and I picked up Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone. However, I'm mostly update on the movies, BTW PoA was the best of the bunch, and GoF sort of a let down, so IMO I have a fairly good grasp of what's going on. Well about one week ago Keith Olberman, the MSNBC guy who does Countdown, told us all his theory about how the series ends. I'm not giving his theory away, but it concerns Voldemort's horcruxes's (IOW, Harry's scar is one of the horcux) and how to destroy the horcrux and not destroy Harry too, and how this may relate to Snape's new position of Professor of DADA, and a huge scacrifice may not be necessarily death.

I started reading the books as soon as I saw the first movie. And yes GoF sucked as a film. but DO NOT LET THAT STOP U FROM READING THE BOOK! otherwise ill hunt you down! jkidding. But the 4th book is one of the best. My favorites in order are: 6 (H-BP), 5 (OotP), 3 (poA), 4, 2 (chamber), 1. The third book is different from the rest of them IMO. Mainly because there isnt too much mention of Voldy-locks. lol
