I want to post a larger intro for those who haven't seen my first one.
From SlayAlive.com - March Something
Hey all,
My real name is Tim (othy). I am 14 years old and live in Indiana.
My first ever episode of Buffy was the second half of Spiral. I then started watching the reruns on FX every weekday morning, and at midnight on saturday evenings on UPN. My fav episode is Once More With Feeling, closely followed by School Hard. I own all of the seasons.
I only saw a few episodes of Angel before it ended. I own all of the seasons and my favorite episode is either Smile Time, or all of the episodes with Illyria.
I rarely watched Smallville on the WB, but I now own seasons 1-3. I've only seen most of the 1st season of BONES, but loved it and I want to buy the 1st season. I absolutly LOVE How I Met Your Mother! I have missed a few weeks this season, but on April 30th, my school librarian's daughter is going to be on it. She was taping an episode of The Price is Right the same day they taped the HIMYM episode where Barney is a contestant (April 30th). I LOVE Heroes! I also like Crossing Jordan and Law and Order and Medium... basically everything NBC! I watch Deal or No Deal (did anyone see last night's episode with the two cases holding 1mil?).
I own the Angel soundtrack, The Buffy Soundtrack, The Musical Soundtrack, and Radio Sunnydale. I am obsessed w/ SMG! over 200 pics on my wall!
My first Buffy novel I read was one of the older ones, with the stone template. I interviewed Nancy Holder for an extra credit project i came up with in 7th grade. It was an amazing interview! Really long! And from that I started Buffy and Angel: The Authors (search Yahoo!). I have more interviews on the YGroup than the site, and if anyone that I have spoken to would like to be a mod on the group, I would love some help!
My favorite book is Queen of the Slayers by Nancy Holder, followed by The Lost Slayer Series by Christopher Golden. I am a major fan of the Harry Potter series ( 2 will die in the end).
I just finished a book report over Joss Whedon: The Genius Behind Buffy where I had to talk to the class as if I was Joss.
Something I don't usually tell is that I can get very depressed some times, especially with my aunt who was really close to me out of my life at the moment.
Thanks 4 reading!

Hi everyone,
My name is Tim Cox, and if you continue, you will be reading a very long introduction to me. My first ever episode of Buffy was SPIRAL. I now own all of the seasons of both Buffy and Angel. I also own three seasons of Smallville. The first Yahoo! Group I joined was about Sarah Michelle Gellar. I then went on to make my own SMG Yahoo! Group, which was very unsuccessful and later deleted (I was only around 11 years old!). I also tried making a site where I would make banners and wallpapers for people, which were based around Buffy. That too was unsuccessful. But in February of 2006, I made my latest Yahoo Group, Buffy & Angel: The Authors. Over a year later, and I am still going out it. It has been the most successful thing I've done... other than that essay I had to do for Social Studies at the end of this past schoolyear that got me the highest grade I had ever gotten on a SS essay, which was good because it was the one class I had had a C in. I started out interviewing the authors of Buffy and Angel novels. Since then, the group has extended. The group's official site was created in late 2006. I have moved on to add comics to the roundabout. So now we include authors of Buffy and Angel comics as well. We are currently in the middle of our second month of the official Book Club for the site. This month's reading material is Portal Through Time by Alice Henderson. I will be having the group's first chat with guess who, Alice Henderson, on June 23rd, this coming Saturday. Also new for our group, in March I approached Guido at SaveAngel.org, who I had talked to during SaveAngel's KRAD chat, with the idea of a 100 Question LIVE Buffy Contest. At the time, my site didn't have a chat room, so SaveAngel was my first choice. The contest happened, and I donated a brand new copy of Nancy Holder's Carnival of Souls to the winner. We then decided to continue the contests monthly, with only 50 Questions. On July 14th, I will be hosting my first ANGEL contest, at SaveAngel.org. Jeff Mariotte is donating the prizes himself!
SO now you know a little more about me, an active poster at SaveAngel, a website owner, and a fanatic Buffy/Angel reader. Oh, I'm also working on an online Buffy/Angel WebMag. (If you want to know more about that, email me at buffysmglover2@yahoo.com)...
Did I mention I'll be 15 on July 26th?

Wow, I'm sorry it's been so long since I've been here. Place looks great!
So here are my updates:
The WebMag thing I mentioned --- FAILED
SaveAngel.org became WhedonAge.com a month ago and I am a mod there.
I am closest thing to admin as I can get w/out actually becoming an admin at SlayAlive.com . I love it over there.
My website and Yahoo! Group Buffy & Angel:The Authors is now BAF-Authors (Buffy Angel & Firefly: The Authors). I'm very excited about the change and the new look I put together for it. BAF-Authors just recently partnered with SlayAlive.com to form SlayAlive Reviews, which is a blog of reviews of Whedonverse products. This has become popular among our reviewers in the last month since it was established. This benefits my site by quickly producing new reviews of books and comics. Oh, right, the site now includes comics A LOT.
Since my last post here, the Buffy books have ended. They ended on January 1st '08 due to lack of sales. The last book was ONE THING OR YOUR MOTHER by first-time buffy author Kirsten Beyer, who will probably be interviewed soon in a live Q&A between mine and another site. That will take place at WhedonAge though.
The chat with Alice Henderson went great. She is always a bunch of fun in her emails, and it was great to be able to have that chat with her.
The trivia contests mentioned have become a hit! The most users we've had during a contest has been close to 30. It doesn't sound like a lot, but IDK if I could take anymore. Lately arguments have emerged during the contests... The latest was over whether or not Gunn died in "Ground State" (Angel 4.02). In December Joss himself donated a prize, the Chosen Collection (the entire series of Buffy on DVD).
I also do a little work for a Buffy audio drama you may know as Buffy Between the Lines. I am beta-ing the 2nd Season scripts and I am a member of their promotion team.
SlayAlive.com is holding a monthly contest with TST which allows fans to get their cover concept turned into a cover of ANGEL After the Fall. Me and my friend Beth I met through the contests combined our ideas and won the contest for Issue 3. I received my half of the prizes last week.
I also have ventured into the world of Buffy gaming past the Gameboy Advance. I am currently playing the first Buffy game (Xbox) and loving it.
I'm now also dabbling in figures. I have around 15 I think, so not as many as most collectors.
In August I went to Slay-A-Thon, a charity event for Buffy and Angel fans in Chicago. What follows is an asignment I did on the event for English Honors ( I am still 15 but now a freshman).
This summer, I went to Chicago, Illinois for Slay-A-Thon, an event for Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans and Angel fans. I was ecstatic about being able to finally meet other obsessive fans of the shows, but I was a nervous wreck during the ride to the city of enormous, towering buildings, my hands shaking with unusual speed. Among the numerous people I greatly admire and have become online contacts with (I share emails with many important people), two of them were going to be at this event. I'd talked to them online, and I'd worked with both of them on our websites. Aly Renee Greaves runs an awesome Buffyverse podcast named Undead America. Gene "Shiai" ran a website and Yahoo! Group related to mine, but his could stomp on mine if need be. When Aunt Julie and I arrived at Dave & Buster's, I sat alone at a table while my aunt went to use the restroom. A woman who looked nothing like her online photo, which had been taken years before, came up to me with a brown sack.
"Are you Tim? Are you Tim?" she asked, sitting down next to me and putting the sack on the table in front of us.
"Yes, hi."
"Hi, I'm Aly."
"Oh, wow, it's so great to meet you."
"Yeah, I was looking around thinking 'who looks like Tim? Who looks like Tim?' Here are the cards you asked for," she told me, pointing at the sack. She took it and started pulling out all of the cards. She had offered to mail them to whomever wanted them, and I was the first one to ask, so she had told me she would bring them that day.
She briefly explained the materials in the sack. When she was about to walk away, I gave her some flyers for a website we both work at. That way I wouldn't have to pass out all 30 flyers. She took them happily, and we spoke quite a few more times that day. Meeting her happened so quick that my nerves calmed a little bit... but I still hadn't seen Gene, who at the time I was calling Shiai.
Sometime later in the day, one of the runners of the Meetup.com group I'm in, the place that had introduced me to Slay-A-Thon, saw me and invited me and my aunt to the group's table, which I had somehow not seen before. I was nervous about that too. We went over there, and as I was sitting down in one of the two empty seats, the person sitting across from me, who I hadn't looked at yet, stood up and shook my hand. I looked up.
"Hi, Tim, I'm Shiai. Nice to finally meet you."
"Hey, Shiai! I didn't even see you at first! It's great to meet you." Once again, everything happened so fast. I had had nothing to worry about at all. Shiai and I talked a lot that day, before he and his fiance left early to host a dinner party.
Being there with people I had met online made me feel better about myself. Shiai and I talked almost daily over the summer break. And when I realized how easy it was to have a conversation with him and Aly, and how I just sort of fit in place, I felt content. It was a better feeling than how I feel on a daily basis at school or at home. Hopefully Gene and I will become better friends. That'd be a bit weird since I'm 15 and he's 30- something. But, a human is a human.
Gene is now a better friend of mine, and he is the one BAF-Authors is joinging with for a Live Q&A with Kirsten Beyer.

OH! And I was interviewed for a Buffy book (The Q Guide to Buffy the Vampire Slayer by Greggory L. Norris) and it comes out Monday (President's Day).
AND I forgot that I should be a member of Alison Mack's Street Team sooner or later. The street team is being put together right now.
Oh, also forgot I now own every season available of Smallville and How I Met Your Mother, and Season 1 of Bones, and I also have seen all of FIrefly and Serenity now.
