This week at school we had a 2-day convocation event put on by Students Against Destructive Decisions. On Thursday, 4 students and 1 teacher was taken by the Grim Reaper to a hotel where they had all electronic communication devices taken away. Their families were called and told they had been hit and killed by a drunk driver. At the link is an audio recording of all but most of the first girl's letter to her mother. It's what she would have written to her mother if she could write after death. You'll onily hear a few seconds of it, but her mom follows with a letter to the public. These are not actors. These are real parents and children who were separated unexpectedly and were asked to respond to it as if it was a drunk driver's fault. If it is too long for tou to listen to, please at least listen to the woman who says "My name is Jennifer Walters, and I am the mother of Jenna Walters". The convocation had a strong impact on the entire student body as the gymnasium filled up with tears and runny noses. I hope it can have even a little of the same effect on everyone else. boomp3.com/listen/dei4q27/grimreaperconvocation08

Yeah, I've seen stuff like this before. I'm a bit resentful, actually, that everyone assumes that because I'm younger than them I'm an alcoholic. Sure, these things have people in tears at the time, but almost all of the people dumb enough to drive drunk in the first place forget about it in two days.
Still, I suppose it's worth the time if it can save even one person.

In all of these the teen was hit by a drunk driver. They weren't the actual drunk driver. But I see your point. It's not like there were a bunch of OLDER people there listening.
And I think I forgot to mention this was for Prom weekend.
