Authors Note: I loved Veruca's character a lot. So I decided to write this fan-fiction all about her. Hope everyone likes it so far. Comments are greatly appreciated.
California 1998
Veruca was all alone in her apartment on Friday night. One day before the full moon. She played with her short-spiky blond and black hair as she read a horror novel. She was lying belly down on her blue couch.
She heard a howl from outside. At first she ignored it. Veruca kept reading. Then she heard another howl.
“Shut up, whatever you are!” Veruca screamed at the top of her lungs. After she yelled, she went back to her book. Then, there was another howl this one was louder. Veruca closed her book and put it on the shaggy carpeted floor. She walked to the door with pride. Whatever it is, she’s gonna kick it’s butt.
Veruca opened the door fiercely. She strode out onto the grass and looked to her left then her right. She saw nothing but trees.
“I’m getting tired of this crap!” She screamed. Veruca looked up into the sky.
“Wow. The moon is beautiful tonight.” She said to herself. She turned on her heel and started toward her door when something pushed her five feet from where she stood.
“Ow!” She screamed in agony as she hit the ground with a crunch.
She looked up at the predator and saw something she never thought existed, except in the movies, a werewolf. She struggled to get up and tried running toward the door. The werewolf ran at her and scratched her with its yellowed claws. Veruca turned to the werewolf and kicked it. Her kick didn’t do any damage at all.
The werewolf advanced on her. It grabbed her arm and bit a chunk right out. Blood gushed out quickly. Veruca pulled her arm away. She ran a short length to the door and grabbed the door knob and turned it quickly. She pulled open the door and ran inside. She slammed the door and there was a loud thump against the other side of the door. The werewolf was trying to break through.
Veruca walked fast to the kitchen and ran water over her deep wound.
“Why do I have to be the one to get attacked?” She asked herself. She got a towel and wrapped it around her bloody arm. She winced as she wrapped it. She walked back to the door and looked out the peep hole. The werewolf was gone.
Veruca went to the hospital the next day. She waited because she didn’t want to go back out into the night all alone. She could still see the grotesque face of here werewolf attacker. Veruca sat on the hospital table. The doctor cleaned the wound out and then put stitches in.
“This will hurt a little.” The doctor said.
“Probably not as much as the bite it’s self did.” Veruca proclaimed.
“Yeah you’re probably right. What did this attacker look like?” He said.
“Well, it was a big ugly hairy dog that’s all.” Veruca told him it was a dog because she didn’t want him to know the truth. Plus he wouldn’t believe her anyway. Even with the bite to prove it.
Veruca opened her apartment door and went inside. She locked the door behind her. Normally Veruca wouldn’t even bother because she could take anyone. Until now. The werewolf was way to strong for her. Veruca walked to the couch and sat down. She picked up her book from the floor and started to read. It was getting late. The moon was sure to be coming out soon. Veruca felt a sharp pain all over her body. She felt like she could throw up. She threw the book on the floor and looked at her hands. Her finger nails expanded into claws. She began to grow. She was now a werewolf. Veruca ran to the door and busted it down. She ran out onto the grass and she looked up at the sky and howled at the moon. She loved this new strength and this new feeling, the feeling of freedom.

“I’ll make you mine in this divine… place. I’ll tear you up; I’ll tear you down into this… ground.” Veruca sang at The Bronze on a Saturday night. After she became the werewolf, she accepted who she was now. She never denied it.
“Everyday, I see you. I need you. I feed from… you.” The red light shined on her chin-length blond hair. One of the band members went up beside her and started playing. When he did that Veruca stopped singing and she just stood there dancing to the rock music. He stopped playing and the song was over. The audience clapped excitedly.
“Thanks people of Sunnydale!” Veruca yelled to the audience.
She and her band loaded up everything into their van.
“That song was really awesome!” A girl said as she walked by their van.
“Thanks so much.” Veruca said to the girl.
