Okay, I totally didn't notice until just now, but Simone is the girl with the sword from #5. So, the question is: How much do we know about Simone? Why did she go rogue? How many slayers are backing her? What else haven't I noticed?

I haven't noticed that she's in issue 5. She also in issue one or two, when Andrew has once of his "lectures"(she aks why they don't have guns). Then she's in issue 11 of course.

I honestly couldn't care less for Simone. Never liked her.

I'm with Willow Wonka. (cute name. I think in issue 11 Xander said there were 4 or 5 unidenified slayers.

I think Simone will come into play later. At the moment she's MIA plot-wise. I hope Faith kicks her butt

She seems a little slow on the uptake, but she has a sort of punk charisma with the girls.

I actually kind of like Simone, I mean she's like a punk Slayer, and that is something we had never seen in a Slayer before....the closest to her is the potential from Frankfurt,Germany that was killed in episode 2 of Season 7.....I think she was a good Slayer to begin with, she seemed to take charge in battle (ie The Chain) was interested in bringing the Slayer's armory out of the middle ages and into the 21st century (not saying guns were necessarily needed, just update some medieval weaponry with some 21st century technology of some kind or remake them out of some strong ass metal and steel to make them seem more indestructable and nifty in battle)
But I do think that we will see Simone in future issues, pushing the bounds between the Slayer laws and our laws....(She is kind of like season 3's Faith in that she thought the Slayer is above natural and human laws, and that they should be free to do as they please with no remorse)---And I think it is Simone who will play a key factor in the military forces waging war on the Slayer squads

I disliked her since issue 11, but I realize now that I have no reason. I mean Buffy broke the law when stealing, and i was fine with that because it was Buffy, my heroin, and she needed the money. For all I know Simone is doing the same thing, breaking the law to be able to protect innocent people.
I assumed, because she looked like she enjoyed herself too much(and okay, I'm prejudiced when it comes to people with colourful hair) that she was a bad person. For all I know, those guards aren't dead and she called the ambulance.
I can't say that I expect her to be more fair, either towards bad human or innocent demons, but it will be interesting to see how these new slayers will fight, but being apart from Buffy's army.
She will probably turn out to be selfsih and maybe even evil, but I can hope that we will have a new heroin, with a new improved set of rules.

I have no opinion, good or bad, on Simone's character. I actually forgot she went rogue. But I knew it was the girl from LWH and The Chain all along.
