Alright this is the first 2 chapters and the prologue so let me know what you think guys!
Prologue
Willow Rosenberg is just a normal girl that lives in an average town. Right? Wrong. Willow Rosenberg is one of the most powerful Wicca’s in the world. And being so strong and in control of her power means she has always been good right? Well not always. At one time Willow had lost control of her power. She began abusing the magic's almost as if they were a drug. Unable to see this she kept doing it. But she was soon brought into the harsh reality when her girlfriend Tara left her because of her problem. After that Willow was heartbroken. She continued abusing the magic’s with another witch named Amy. Until Willow almost killed Buffy's sister Dawn, because of her carelessness. After that Willow went cold turkey on the magic’s, but that didn't stop Amy. So Willow broke off her relationship as friends with Amy. When Tara realized how good Willow had been doing she couldn't resist, and came back to Willow. Willow was finally complete again. Or so she thought. In one swift freak accident Tara was taken out of this world right in front of Willow's eyes. Tara and Willow had been spying on Xander and Buffy who had a falling out earlier that day. They had finally made up when Warren, a member of the trio burst into the backyard with a gun. The trio was made up of Warren, Andrew, and Jonathan. Three nerds who had just up and decided one day to take over Sunnydale. Tired of there failing because of The Slayer's interference. Warren was ready to finish it. Warren commented to Buffy and Xander, and then drew his gun. He took three wild shots running away as he shot. The third bullet had broken the upstairs window and shot through Tara's chest. Killing her almost instantly. With Willow blinded by madness and anger she attempted to get revenge.
Buffy had also been shot by one of the bullets and was on the verge of death, but Willow using her new found dark magics saved her. Everyone could see Willow had changed. Her once red hair had turned black, and the same with her eyes. Willow had lost it. Unable to stop her Buffy, Xander and Anya watched in horror as Willow stripped Warren of his flesh and burned him alive. Willow had now crossed the line. She had taken a human life. And enjoyed it. She then proceeded to go after the other two members of the trio who had done nothing to Tara. But Willow didn't care they were all dead to her. She had almost succeeded in killing them until Giles showed up. He had borrowed magic's from a group of powerful beings in England and came back to stop Willow. Unable to stop her Willow drained Giles magic, but what Willow didn't know is that the magic she had drained from Giles was pure magic, and because of this she experenced what no person should have to...the weight of the world. All the pain, suffering all of it. And she left giles bloody and beaten to continue on to her new task at hand. Wanting all the pain to go away Willow was going to destroy the earth. What Willow hadn’t realized was that the pure magic also reached deep down to her soul. In an attempt to stop Willow. Xander confronted her with old memories and his lover for her. Because of that spark of humanity left in her Xander succeeded as Willow broke down and cried changing back to her regular self.
Now at first after Willow's transformation back to the side of light she was scared of her magic. She would use it cautiously and dabble with it here and there. And whenever she seriously had to use it her dark half would show it's ugly head causing her to fear it even more. But at the brink of war with the evil known as "The First" Willow finally summoned the courage to tap into her magic using every bit of good in her, and since that day Willow has embraced her magic. So everything is going great in Willow Rosenberg's life. New house not on a hellmouth. Stable girlfriend who she loves and cares for, and she has complete control of her magic, but what Willow doesn’t realize is that history is about to repeat itself in a very different way...
Chapter 1: The Separation
Willow laid in bed her eyes closed trying to even picture the events that had taken place in the last six months. First they fought a giant war against The First Evil, and won. Then Sunnydale had completely collapsed in front of their eyes. She loved hearing the news reports explaining the "Freak Earthquake" that claimed the small town of sunnydale knowing in the back of her mind that it was them who caused this, and saved the world. In that same day her girlfriend had become a full fledged slayer along with many other girls around the world, and that was just the start. They had been on that cramped up bus for almost three days driving around picking up slayers here and there. Buffy had been determined to find as many as possible, and explain to them what had happened. Willow had planned to stay with Buffy through the entire slayer hunt. But once they reached L.A. Willow was just too tired. And she figured maybe Kennedy and her could do some good in this town. So Buffy and Willow said their goodbyes, and just like that Willow was separated from one of her best friends. Willow talked a lot with Angel who was now at a law firm not to far from where she was staying. She also kept in touch with Buffy and the gang. Buffy, Giles and Xander kept on moving in search for more slayers. They drove just about cross country in 3 months trying to hit as many of the fifty states as possible. Then they returned to California staying in San Fransisco. Renting a old building site to begin training the new slayers. Willow had offered Vi and Rona a place to stay, but they turned her down. Last she had heard they were heading over to England on Giles request to help with the Watchers Councile rebuilding, And through all the excitment she still made sure to make plenty of time for her lover. Last time Willow had talked to Buffy she had found out that Buffy, Giles and Xander had taken a break from the training and were at Cleveland checking out the other hellmouth. Willow worried about Buffy a lot, but she knew Buffy could handle just about anything. Willow and Kennedy had rented a nice two-room apartment, which Angel so kindly helped them get. Andrew unfortunately occupied the other room. Who had had enough hellmouth action for the rest of his life, but besides that life was good. Willow got up stretched and looked outside. It was already night, but because of her hours she worked with Angel she usually slept during the day. She helped Angel alot with his research and spells that needed fixing or updating. She was also one of the only people who knew about Spikes return. She caught sight of him one day in the halls and just about passed out. He made her promise that she wouldn't tell Buffy and it was one of the hardest things she ever had to do, but as she promised she kept the secret. As for the late hours. The same went with Kennedy considering she was the local slayer. Kennedy followed suit as she got up as well. Willow looked over to Kennedy with a smile. "Hey I think I am going to go patrolling with you tonight okay hun? I need a break from reasearch. I know I am book girl and all, but I need alittle action." Kennedy nodded in agreement. Kennedy never liked the idea of Willow going with her, but would never tell her that knowing that Willow was stronger than her with her magic’s.
They sat around at the park for the first couple hours. Mostly just goofing off and snuggling. The real vamp action normally didn't hit untill late at night. "You would think the vampires had a secret code time for when they went hunting around here." Willow said to Kennedy as the two shared a laugh. After the park then they search through some of the back allies. The darker places of the great City of Angels. It was almost morning now and they hadn't seen anything at all, but sometimes you did get dull nights. About 3:00am they had given up the search and started to head home. "Well wasn't that a huge pile of boring." Kennedy said as they turned into an alley that they thought would be a shortcut. As they rounded the corner they spotted two demons carrying some kind of gun. The gun looked familiar to Willow, but she shrugged it off. The demons were also had two girls who were gaged and bound. They attempted to approach the demons quietly, but as all good plans go it came to a crashing end when Kennedy stepped on a can causing it to crush. The demons spun around spotting them. They drew their guns as Kennedy was there in a flash. She struck first kicking the gun out of ones hand and attacking it as his gun fell to the ground broken. Willow has just said some simple words as the other demon went flying into a wall hard. Cracking the cement of the wall in the process. Willow stood over her thought to be dead demon as she untied the girls telling them to run. She looked over at Kennedy who was finishing up with hers. Willow left her demon as she returned back to Kennedy. The two locked hands and continued to head home. "Well at least we got something." Kennedy said with a laugh. "Yeah. That was well...eventful." Willow added. Willow glanced back almost out of instinct to the one she had laid out, but to her surprise he was up with his gun ready to fire. Kennedy turned around quickly seeing the shock on Willow's face. The creature fired one blast, and then ran. "Kennedy look out!" Willow had screamed as she pushed Kennedy who was standing right in the blasts path out of the way. By the time the shot reached Willow it was too big to escape. She tried casting a barrier spell in quick time hoping it was enough, but it wasn't. The blast blew apart the barrier as Willow felt the shot hit her hard as she was knocked completely across the street into another alley. Kennedy got to her feet and in a panic took off over to Willow. She got their in seconds expecting the worst, but somehow Willow didn't have a scratch on her.
Kennedy helped Willow up almost in tears. "Oh god Willow...are you okay? Say something!" Willow reached her feet as she smiled. "Hey no little demon is going to take this Wicca out." Willow then fell into Kennedy's arms almost losing conciseness. "Whatever that blast was had drained a lot of my energy and magic." Willow said as she continued to struggle to stand. She felt weak and could barley stand up on her own. Kennedy draped Willow's arm over her shoulder as her eyes teared still. "You shouldn't have done that Will. It could have killed you." Kennedy said as her tears streamed down her checks. "Hey no crying baby." Willow said as she wiped her tears away. "I am fine I think my barrier spell stoped the biggest part of it. I just think the bang caught me alittle. I will be fine okay?" Kennedy nodded and helped Willow out of the alley as the two headed home. They had had enough adventure for one day. Neither had noticed that a third girl was laying in the trash almost right behind Willow. She was buried a little as she slowly opened her eyes and tried to make her way to her knees. It took her a couple trys but she finally succeded. She looked up her eyes glowing black. She finally made her way to her feet as she stumbled a little and walked slowly out of the filthy alley. She looked around for a minuet trying to figure out where she was, and what was going on. She finally had made her way to the end of a street seeing a steet sign and realizing where she was. A grin finally came on the girls face as she spoke "Hello my beautiful little L.A." The girl looked around again as she was now grinning from ear to ear she felt differnt. Strong...evil. She looked around once more her eyes now a dull black. She said a few words and faded into the night as her last words trailed off with a echo through the streets. "Dark Willow is here..."
Chapter 2- The Terror Begins
Willow and Kennedy had made it home alright, but Willow began to get sick as she lay in bed her stomach killing her. She felt like she was going to throw up. Just then Kennedy walked in the door bringing her something to drink. "You sure your going to be okay babe?" Kennedy asked for the 100th time. "I'm fine. Just a little weak I mean that blast did hit me pretty hard. I think it might have gotten through my barrier." Kennedy looked confused. "But your okay. Arn't you? I mean a blast like that would have killed you." Willow looking around the room still aliitle dizzy. "I think it might have been a way to drain your strength from your body. You know seperate your slayer strength from you." They talked for a while and Willow check the net for any information on the weapon that the demon had shot her with. She had checked for at least 3 hours just searching around demonoligy websites. Even on her wicca message board no one could recall anything like that. Finally after coming up with nothing. She decided to do the next best thing. Go ask Angel for his resources and help. Kennedy was against Willow making the trip to Wolfram and Hart, but Willow told her she would be fine. Kennedy had noticed how much stronger Willow had become when it came to willpower, but at the moment physically she was looking bad, but finally she gave in and they headed to see Angel. The taxi pulled up as Kennedy helped Willow into the taxi. "Hey is she alright?" The driver asked. "She will be fine." Kennedy said in a hard voice. "Just take us here. To this address." She handed him a peice of paper as he turned around and put the car in drive. "Okay then to Wolfram and Hart it is." This would be Kennedy's first visit to the law firm . "I sure hope we find out some answers." Kennedy said as she looked over at Willow "Yeah me to." Willow said lowly. "Me to..."
Dark Willow walked down the street still grinning from ear to ear. She was finally free again. No weak wimpy Willow telling her what to do. As a matter of fact she didn’t even feel the weaker side of her in her. It was like she had been split in two. She couldn't explain it, but she was sure glad and ready to take the opertunity to have some fun. She looked into a clothes store through the glass and saw her own reflection. "Oh god has to be punishing me to put me in these clothes." When she was split from Willow she had somehow taken the same clothes. She walked into the store not lifting a finger as the door opened by itself, but of coarse it was an automatic door, but back to the point. She walked in and checked through just about all the clothes in the store until she found her match. Black. She used a mind trick on the cashier causing her to think she had paid then changed and left. "What to do?" she thought as she proceeded down the street as she walked down the street she was almost hit by a car. She went to shoot the car the finger when she was dazed at what she saw. It was her but not her. It was the weaker half that had caused her all this trouble. She thought she had felt a faint glimmer of herself when she had started to wake up more. "So I have been split in two. Well I think I know what I will be doing." She laughed as she knew exactly where she was heading. She was heading to her apartment. To look around alittle bit.
Willow and Kennedy arrived at Wolfram & Hart. Kennedy got out as she walked around the car and helped Willow out. Willow was looking worse than ever now as Kennedy put her arm around Willow and began to guide her. Willow still held up by Kennedy hoped up the steps to Wolfram & Hart's main lobby. They looked around finally seeing Fred smiling as she saw them and waved. Her smile quickly faded as she ran over to them. She was a little freaked to see Willow as bad as she was. Kennedy explained the situation to Fred. She understood and said she would have Angel down in a sec. she rushed over to the desk and picked up the phone. was downstairs within seconds. He helped Kennedy carry Willow to the elevator then went down to research to try and find out what kind of weapon it was. Willow lay on a couch trying to sleep as Kennedy, AnShe said a couple things into the phone and Angel gel, Loren and Fred looked through every piece of resource they had. Even Wesley had headed down when he arrived. Spike was also on the lookout for the weapon as he flipped through his fifth book. After almost 3 hours they had nothing. “There has to be something on what is happening to her!” Angel yelled. “Well Angel cakes if there is we will find it.” Lorne said hopeful as Fred backed him up. “Yeah Angel. We will find it soon and then we can help Willow and all go out to eat.” Spike looked up at Angel as he shook his head. "I hate to be the gloomy one of the bunch, but I don't see a bloody thing. Maybe I should hit the streets ask around. Something I am better at then standing around." Angel looked at Spike. "Yeah thats a good idea Spike." Angel said as Spike headed out of the room. Angel and Spike hated each other with a passion, but in a situations liked this the two always seemed to come to an understanding. They searched and searched but still no sign of what the weapon was or what it had done to Willow. Spike had even checked in hourly calling Angel to pretty much report the bad news of no luck. None of them wanted to give up, but time was dwenelling fast. Then as if all hope was lost a voice came from the doorway. "It's a separation gun." The voice said. Willow looked over at the person shocked. It was the last person Willow had expected to see. Amy Madison. "Hey Willow."
Dark Willow searched through Willow's apartment not finding anyone home. She had so hoped for someone at least to be home that she could have some fun with. She could feel her others aura and knew that she had been there fairly soon before she had seen her. So for fun she figured she would go through Willow’s things. She found an interesting read. It was a journal Willow had kept since high school. Dark Willow flipped through the pages as she came across something that interested her. "Today I actually met myself as a vampire. She came from a different dimension but it scared me to think that could have been me if Buffy hadn’t have saved me so many times." Dark Willow got her noticeable grin going again. "So a Vampire Willow." Well you know what they say. Two Willows are good, but three. Now that’s magic." She laughed as she ripped the page out and headed out the door. She needed somewhere that would be a safe and unnoticeable place for her to do a summoning spell. She was going to bring Vampire Willow back into this reality, but that wasn't the only Vampire that Dark Willow had planned on summoning. Another entry in the journal caught her eye as she flipped through. And she knew this would tear Willow apart inside. And anything that would hurt miss goodie Willow was perfect in Dark Willow's eyes. She smiled as finally found a good place to do the spell. "Time to have some fun."
She sat down in a circle she had made in the abandoned alley she had found. She began to chant as the sky became dark and lightning began to strike all around her. "From the past I see and call. The Willow that was bit in all. The Forms of Darkness gather bright. As I call her through this time through light!" A portal appeared in front of Dark Willow as she smiled. “Come now to this dimension. I need some excitement anyways. This will make things very intresting.” With Dark Willow’s words Vampire Willow emerged from the portal, and fell to her knees. "It was a rush wasn’t it?” Dark Willow said. "Feeling your body be pulled apart and turned into little bits and peices and then put all back together at once." She smiled as all of a sudden Vampire Willow sprang up in a fit of rage and panic to kill this girl who had just spoken to her. Plus she was just hungry, but was stopped and floated in mid air as if an invisible force had grabbed her and wouldn’t let her go any further. She fault for a second trying to escape as Dark Willow finally spoke to her. "I am evil like you sweetie.” Dark Willow said with a smile. “I'm not the cute cuddly Willow that sent you back to live your life in that hell hole of a dimension. Now I understand what she did to you, and I am sure you want revenge, and with my help you can get it. Now do you want to help me kill her?" Vamp Willow smiled as she turned back to human and shook her head yes. "Good, but before we do. We need to get you a little vampire girlfriend. I need to summon another before the portal closes." She searched through the pages she had ripped out of Willow's journal. "I loved you to, but I know the truth and I know where you are. So this is going to be so much fun on my end! This is the girl that also had a vampire doppelganger defy the dimensions and come to this reality. I can’t wait to see the look on that red headed weakling’s face when I bring this one back.” Dark Willow smiled as she turned back to the portal that was beginning to close. “Darn I have to hurry. The portal is starting to close.” Vampire Willow watched in amusement as Dark Willow raised her hands ready to perform another spell. “Time to bring you back...Tara." Dark Willow said with a smile.
