Okay, I understand that this issue has been settled and Phil has said that after a few days spoilers are allowed. However, we have had members complain about spoilers WITHIN threads the spoilers belong in. The spoilers, IMoshO, should remain in the threads. However, we have members here who haven't even finished the televison show (I'll name one for you if you'd like). We have members here waiting to buy the TPBs. Yet most of the people in the chatbox think it's only fair that they get to discuss the most current issue ASAP in the chatbox, where everyone can see whether they want to or not, whether they've had the opportunity to read the issues already or not. How is it that we can plan on NOT having complaints upon complaints the more time that passes about the chatbox spoiling people who don't even enter the Season Eight board very often? It's not logical to assume there will be no complaints. (In fact, this is one right now.)
This thread is locked, but the poll is not. Please vote for what you believe to be reasonable.
Also, the definiton of "spoiler" from dictionary.com is:
A remark which reveals important plot elements from books or movies, thus denying the reader (of the article) the proper suspense when reading the book or watching the movie.
According to that definition, something can be considered a spoiler even if the book or movie in question is released to the public.
