I'm all for the Buffy and Angel cross-over, when it happens but if we are going to include characters into the mix, I sure hope we start with characters from BTVS. Like say, Giles. I mean come on, his absence is becoming painful. Brian Lynch says that he believes Buffy probably already knows Spike is alive, which isn't surprising, since Andrew knows. At this point I'd prefer to see Buffy somehow cross-over to ATS to help Angel out, when the time is right. I really want a Buffy/Angel crossover. I really think this whole comic book thing needs that right now. Yeah, it would be cool. Gather the troops, which includes Giles and head out. Or visa/versa, when the time is right. Grab Wes, Illyria, etc.. on head out.

I would prefer if they kept the ultimate buffyverse team-up for the big fight at the end, if one ever is planned to happened.

A Buffy/Angel team up is long over due and I think it would work very well. In comics it would be good but imagine it in screen it would be amazing. Just look at what they did with the Doctor Who/Torchwood team up for season 4..it was fantastic!

This doesn't have much to do with the issue 19 storyline but wouldn't it be great if somewhere down the line Joss created a tv series or movie based off of Fray?
I would love to see the future buffyverse on the small or big screen.

I would love to see the future buffyverse on the small or big screen. That would be amazing, but given the amount of special effects needed to effectively bring Fray's world to the small screen, I think it's unlikely to happen. What with flying cars, huge sets, swimming demons. It would cost far too much. But that's just me, the wet blanket.

Oh well I would not like to see Fray the series, because it would cost to much to be done the right way, but to have Fray included in a Buffyverse movie ( that I'm dreaming of ) would be perfect..

They usually put one out a little closer to the release of the issue then they are now.
Best wishes,

Since Scott Allie raised the possibility at the end of the #18 lettercol that the release of #19 might be a little late, I'd guess that the #19 preview might be a bit late, as well...

So this could obviously be all wrong...but Dark Horse does has the release date as October 1st right now... Maybe it's still on schedule. Plus we don't always get previews do we? I've noticed a month here and there without one.

I've pre-ordered this issue from ebay 14 days ago, but the seller still haven't sent me the total amount that I'm supposed to pay. I hope I won't get it too late.
I've requested a total and sent messages. I'm going to complan to ebay right now.

I hope it's still the 1st of October. I never usually read the previews so I don't know when they usually come out. But wasn't some of the issues released without having previews??

BAH!!!! I just checked the Darkhorse site, and they have the release date as November 12th!! Another month and a half? Drat! I guess I should be glad that there's a Season 8 at all, but late realeases still blow.

Ugh! I expected a delay, but not five weeks! It's going to be a long, painful wait. On the plus side we will be getting three issues in less than a month if Dark Horse keeps the #20 and #21 dates the same.
EDIT:
And they didn't keep the dates. "After These Messages... We'll Be Right Back" now comes out December 3rd and "Harmonic Divergence" comes out December 17th. Now everything is thrown off, how annoying.

Oh no! I'd been counting the days til next Wednesday That is a HUGE delay. Words cannot express my disappointment. Thank god for After the Fall - both Angel and Spike's stories. But but but...I miss my Buffy.

I blame Fray...she is bad luck and the queen of delays. The orignial Fray comic book series in 2003-ish was delayed a lot of the time and it took forever for each issue to come out. Luckily I nevrer had that problem and just picked up the TPB when it came out to save myself all the agony.
TOYL part 3 left ona big cluiff hanger. I finsihed reading it and though "God what does Buffy do, what is going to happen now"?! and now we have an even bigger wait to see the finale...jesu!
