My name is not Lisa... :broody:
Recently, I went to my comic book store and saw where Issue 8 was released...since I hadn't gotten mine yet, I was curious to see my name printed again in the regular covers of Angel comicdom. Lo and behold...
My last name is spelled correctly (a rarity, believe me) but my name's not Lisa! LOL. Major typo there...

Maybe they will be able to change it for future reprints?

I figure it's an honest mistake...the name above mine IS Lisa...lol. Blendage of the names, I imagine.

I'm not Lisa either, but it sure looks like Lisa's name on the cover for issue 10 lol. But it does have my name spelled correct inside the book (I checked with one of the virgin covers I got from TFAW). EDIT: Apparently Lisa Jackson is the colorist Stephen Mooney works with. I was assuming the name on the cover was the person who suggested the concept, as Stephen tends to put their name on the cover. In this case the name would be mine, but I guess it was the colorist instead.

I think Stephen may have stopped putting the concept person's name on the cover as in many instances, the scancode and other extra stuff that goes on the cover would cover up the name and no would see it anyways. I had suggested that he put it towards the middle of the page (at the bottom) not too far left or right as there seems to be banners and other stuff laid over the art.

Hey guys, truth is that any time I've been given the winner's name I've included it in the artwork, as I figure that makes the piece more personal for them. In a couple of instances the barcode on the cover has ended up obscuring the winner's name, and I apologise for that. Once or twice the image is cropped by the art dept at IDW to better suit the issue, so the name gets lost. Nothing that can be done there. And sometimes I just plain amn't told the winners name! So to anybody whose name hasn't appeared on their printed covers I realise that sucks, PM me if there's anything I can do to make it up to you, an original sketch of your favourite character or some such.

This is very thoughtful of you Stephen, trying to get their names in, apologizing when they don't show and offering original sketches. I hope the non-named seen winners take you up on that offer.
Very thoughtful.

The only problem is that my favorite character is Willow. And it is super nice of you, Stephen! I may have to think about that...just have to decide my favorite Angel character...

Dude, that's so nice. You're an awesome guy! Can't wait to own the chess piece cover, by the way, that's one of my favorites so far. That, the Wes cover, and the Gwen/Gunn cover are astonishing.

Stephen, I just want to say that that is an amazing offer you put forth, and I hope we will be able to smile at a scan of the Willow sketch like we get to with all of your amazing covers.
