I have to take my senior pictures on July 24. What am I going to do? What face should I make? Should I make a face? I'm not ready to face my peers so soon. Plus my haircut is all messed up and If I cut it more, it will look worse. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! *runs around room, bangs head on wall*. How should I act around them? My junior picture makes me look like a drug dealer! Are senior pictures that important anyway? It's the college graduation that counts, right? Why do they take it so gosh darn early? My mind is about to explode! I'm scared. *Head Explodes* I'm sorry I sound like a "Nancy Boy". Please help, and give all the advise you can! Please! Thanks guys. -Ben

How many picture is it? My class got two so I made a stupid face in one and took a nice-ish picure for the other. Put gel in your hair or try a different hair style that you would suit to go along with the haircut. Also I thought this topic said Senior PARTNERS, oh well but as Jack Nicholson once said:
"Never give people advice...they never take it"

Oh lookie... 2 days away. I'll actually just take Willow Wonka's suggestion and just smile. Oh, and breathe. Senior pictures will be in your yearbook, so its importance solely depends on how many people you intend to show your mugshot to, or more importantly, who you intend to show it to. But really, in the grand scheme of things, not even your epitaph on your tombstone will matter beyond the time that people remember you. Hairstyles come and go anyway, so even if it wasn't messed up, the chances of your kids, grandkids, boss' wife looking at the picture and laughing at either the mushroom of pubic hair on your head, or the dead albatross splayed out in all its glory is high no matter what (*NOTE: I'm not saying your hair resembles either of those; just that it really doesn't matter all that much). Hope that offers some perspective.

I graduated from high school almost 10 years ago and I can honestly say that I've only looked at my yearbook/senior pictures once or twice since then. Like wenxina said, in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter what you look like since those pictures aren't what people base their memories of you off of. IMO, senior pictures aren't important at all. I really wouldn't worry about it too much. Just smile! ;D

yeah its totally a smile and get on with your life type thing. For seniors at my high school we created a senior page and forewent a section of "smile" pictures for grads. Most people did collages, others scanned their artwork. One guy who was known as "the black jeff" (he and I were one of probably 4 or 5 black kids in the school) made his entire page black with glossy black print saying "Jeff". one of the best pages ever! mine was a picture I'd originally taken for myspace, and I photoshopped my fav megadeth verse What a little drama queen I was lol I bet yours is gonna be like a normal 18 year olds should be hahahha
