I'm writing this message to share my horror story of the Buffy Collector Club. In a nutshell I placed an order last year for around $100, everything was fine until we got to January and I was still waiting for my items. I decided to cancel my order, what difference that made...
I exchanged emails with 'John', he was very slow at responding (by slow I mean weeks between replies!). Eventually he got back to me and told me that I'd have to accept a refund via PayPal, I did not have an account at the time so I asked if he could put the money back onto my card - he said he couldn't, which was complete BS.
Anyways, I must of sent countless emails to them between January and today (just sent another one). I've not received any replies, even when I threatened them with legal action. I'm also pursuing a refund from some items I bought on 'Buy A Figure' day, I was stupid enough to put the order through (probably because of the hype surrounding the day, and being made to think that dealing with them would help the lines resurrection). I have a feeling I'll get that back, the other money is up in the air at the moment.
I can't believe how BAD their customer service is. It's funny because about a year ago I had a bad experience with an ebay seller, but at least they sent replies to my emails!!!
I felt that I had to post this to warn others that the BCC is run by muppets, who really need some training in CS. Oh, and the irony is that although the BCC is working to save the line - in some ways they also helped kill it by excluding international members and being complete [censored!]s when it comes to dealing with customers with a problem.
