Hi everyone newbie here and I was just wondering if anyone else has bought a "Crush" Drusilla from julietlandau.com yet? It's a little pricey at $125 + shipping but not being just a repaint and possibly being the only Dru figure to get released made me have to have one. I emailed DST about it's package and the future of the deluxes and thought you might be interested in Matt Peck's reply if you were wondering about "Crush" Dru and the deluxes. I'm thinking that DST is going to put their efforts into the deluxe now and hopefully that means all new scoobies who can actually move. His avoidance of the status of the deluxe figures make me think that there are more coming. I'm brand new to collecting Buffy figures and only like the deluxes. Below is my email from DST.
1. Juliet Landau is offering an exclusive "Crush" Drusilla figure that the prototype picture makes look like a deluxe style figure and I was wondering if you could tell me if it will be in the deluxe clamshell packaging?
A: Deluxe packaging same as the previous figures for the Crush Drusilla.
2. I have of course read all over the internet that your "regular" Buffy figures have been canceled. That's awesome! I'm hoping that this means your going to focus on the Deluxe line, it's wonderful. am I just dreaming?
A: While we did cancel the Judge waves and the Revamped wave, we haven’t made any announcements about the deluxe line. Hate to say it, but you’ll have to wait and see for now.

If the deluxe figures are going to be upwards of a 100 dollars from now on, they can just forget about me buying them.
However, if less expensive figs are put out, I'll buy in excess, especially now that all the other figures seem to be completely canceled.

The price of the deluxe figures aren't going to go up, the only reason this one is $125 is because it's an exclusive and there will only be so many made. It's kinda like the Triangle Tara she was $125 but the price of all the other figures didn't go up.

At last, it's finally been confirmed that the figure is going to be Deluxe. Thanks for sharing the news, Halfrekfan, because God knows DST hasn't said a damn thing to anyone else lately.

I purchased one the end of August. Given the uncertainty of having any more Buffy figures being released, I couldn't pass up on what might be the last figure made. Also, with it being Drusilla, I couldn't do without it.

$125 for a 6" plastic figure...a little out of my league, though I wish juliet the best. it just sucks, because she stated she did not want to be like amber and charge that much...then poof....$125. saddens me.

I'll pass on this figure. Which is a shame, since I would LOVE to have those parts for custom figures. But not enough to shell out that kind of money Still, I hope that we see the other Willows someday...at a more fan-friendly price.

Any new word about the deluxe figures? I really would love to have this Dru figure (I always wanted one from Crush too) but that is so pricey. Maybe if there was a contest or something I'd try to win it but otherwise--yikes.

CowboyGuy said that he was told that we'd just have to wait until toyfair next month to see what happens.

I understand that it is super rare and I think it is pretty cool that JL is offering collectors the chanc eto get a figure that they could not normally get. Ieven understand her charging so much for it....I would not want/expect her to take a loss on it...
That said, I would not pay 125 dollars for an action figure to save my life...well, maybe to save my life...but that is about what it would take to get me to buy this.
I started collecting Buffy figures because it is a fun and affordable way to display my fandom for my favorite show.
Paying over 125 dollars for a toy is neither fun nor affordable in my oppinion. Count me out!
