Once Buffy Season Seven ended, it left us hanging. And once we found out there was not another season coming alone, we all had our own ideas. What was yours? What did YOU think would happen later on. Of course, now we have the comics to tell us, but what did you think before? I would share my ideas, but I never really gave it any thought. xD I know, shocking, but at least I'm honest. Sp, I want to hear your old ideas! ;D ~VS~

The season seven finale left a world of possibilities open, but at the same time I felt like Buffy's story as a slayer had kind of come to a close. With all the other slayers I imagined Buffy going into retirement of sorts-like actually finally getting to live like a normal girl. I think I just imagined them moving to England with Giles. Granted not as exciting as season 8 but I was actually thinking as a series FINALE. But I have to say the direction they took it makes alot of sense- with buffy becoming the leader/queen of the slayers, having to deal with rogue slayers and much grander problems. I don't think I'd do anything different so far in season 8, except bringing warren back. Bringing just Amy in as a villain would've been just as good if not better.

I imagined that Buffy would go back to school in some small town. Giles would reassemble the watcher's council to guard over the new slayers and lead them like before 8but since Giles would be the new Quentin and Buffy would still have a s ay in things, they slayer-training would be a lot more humans).
I figured that there would be small teams of slayers stationed around the world (on in the hellmouth in Cleveland). I didn't think taht much about squads or such, or how many slayers there would be.
I figured Giles and the other slayers would only bring Buffy back in for the big things at first.
Xander would live with Buffy & Dawn in this town, probably mop around after anya's death for a while. Willow would explore her powers furture, probably visit Buffy often and Kennedy and her would break it of after a month, on friendly terms. And after a while, Buffy would realize that she still wanted to help people, and continue being a active slayer. Both with less responsibility.
I wasn't that far off. Perhaps Buffy wanted the normal life at first but discovered that she would still have to lead.
I did never imagined the uniforms tough. Specially not Xander's.

You know, it's funny. I remembered buffy's line in 'chosen' to xander- 'you could go for the black on black secret agent look'. When I saw how Xander was dressed in the comics I immediately thought of her line. It just stuck out to me I think b/c I really thought it was a good idea as the eye-patch with the flannel shirts xander was so fond of just didn't look too sexy. AND, his little stints as a soldier in season two and four etc. can now be looked at as foreshadowing of where he is today.

In my season 8 Buffy, Giles and Xander rounded up Slayer army quite fast, and all the demons were banished from this dimension. Willow was on a mystical journeys and was left in those dimensions ( in one of them she found Tara). All the magics were gone and Buffy and Angel ( now human ) lived happily ever after

I just watched that epi last night, and Giles walking in the door gave me a big smile. It never gets old. xD

I actually imagined that as the end of the show. Buffy was done. She wasn't the slayer anymore and her story came to a close. Not to say that I don't like the comics...I love them and thought they continued the show perfectly.

I would have it go down like this: Buffy now decides to live her own life in a world full of slayers. She dooesn't feel as important anymore so she decides to decides to become a slayer-mentor (kinda like Faith in no future for you) and she also ends up in a relationship with Xander since I dont know what else to do with him, not that he's not a nice character. Willow now has a whole new range of powers becuase the scythe made her go all goddess and all so she now uses her powers to restore the enviroment. Willow also get sto have Tara back through a wish that Buffy made (Joss's idea which i think rocked) Giles retires and lives a jolly good life in Britain. Dawn moves to Australia and never comes back. Faith becomes a rogue slayer and Andrew is her sidekick, but in a funny and comedical way. The new season would focus a lot on how the scoobies deal with life after they beat the big bad and have a chance to live a happy life. The emphasiss would be on the scoobies and not the army of slayers.

I always thought Faith would lead a small group of slayers travelling around the world. Growing, realizing their faults, faith learning to be a leader as the girls learn what its like to be a slayer. Just my 2 cents, which is worth considerably less in this economy.

I´dunno... Season 8 wasn´t really necesary for me, i mean, yeah, more of Buffy would be cool, but after Sunnydale get doomed and with many slayers in the world, Buffy now could be just Only a Girl, that was a perfect ending for me...
