Finally got to see The Air I Breathe and I liked it-Sarah was great-not sure if better than her performance in Suburban Girl, which I thought she did great in-but she was definitely the best actor in the whole movie. Loved Brenden Frasier as well and thought he and Sarah were really great together. Andy Garcia and Forest Whitaker overacted as far as I'm concerned. And didn't really understand Forest's reasoning-why did he bet that much money when he didn't have it-was he bored and needed some excitement? That's the way I saw it. Loved the scene where Kevin Bacon's Dr. saves Trista (SMG)-great scene and beautifully filmed. Very cool movie and makes you think about how we all are connected to others and we can use that connection to help or hurt.

i just finished watching it a couple hours ago and overall i thought it was good, but not one of my favorites. the best scenes were the SMG ones, but then again i guess i'm biased. i loved the ending especially. it's worth watching the movie just for the beautiful scene on the hospital roof that reminded me of "The Gift" a little bit. i also liked how it made me think about how many people i could be connected to and affect without even knowing it, which i found interesting. typically i don't like movies that make me think, but TAIB did it in a nice, subtle way.

This film is in my top ten! I fell in love with it. The story's move so well together, the acting is just brilliant and i really loved the theme. I'm upset it was wasn't world wide seen in the cinema i think it would have done well. It got more yays outside of the USA so i think it would have been bigger out of the USA if it had been Gutted.
Still i LOVE this film.

I just watched this movie. I really enjoyed the plot and the characters. The actors were well chosen and the performances shine through with depth and emotion. Sarah's character, Sorrow, was especially touching to me. She represented not only the emotion, but the many women in society who are pushed around into life situations they do not want or deserve. I also really enjoyed Forrest Whittaker's character, Happiness. His piece in this film was short but very impactful. The whole story hinges on the idea of metamorphosis, using butterflies as an obvious symbol. It is a refreshing movie that gives a glimpse into four different stories that are very much one in the same.
Two thumbs up from me.
If you liked Sarah's performance in BtVS S5 "The Body" you will be amazed at her soul and honesty in this movie.
It does however contain violence and nudity, just for your information.

I really liked this movie! I saw it a while ago, and was happy I sat through it. SMG's performance was amazing. She did so well. The story was okay, and the characters were enjoyable. Not the best movie, but not the worst either, for sure.

I really enjoyed this film and not just for SMG, although she was obviously the main reason I decided to buy it and watch it. I liked the concept of the film although think that more could have been done with it.

Good movie. For some reason I loved the scene where her character is being interviewed and the guy asks something like "What makes you special and deserving of stardom?" and she freezes up.
I've seen SMG try to kill herself way too many times at this point.

I really do love this movie. A lot of Sarah's films get put to the side and aren't given the best ratings. But those ratings are entirely wrong.
