((I actually like this one so far. ))
A scream. That’s all I needed to hear to know that something was up. Soon there were dozens of screaming citizens. Then hundreds. It didn’t take me long to figure out what was going on. All I had to do was look up.
The sky was a scarlet color. I hate to say that it looked pretty, but it did. Nothing too abnormal. I had seen worse. There was the sun, where it should be… And the moon?! I still had seen things more frightening, but this was weird. It was the sun, and moon out as clear as day… Or night, I’m not really sure. What was going on?
But things get worse… Way worse…

I walked the streets of what to be L.A. Some of us call it ‘Hell-A’ as a joke. But this place is no joke. I don’t think I’ve cracked a smile ever since… Let’s just say for a long time.
My eyes drifted down to look at the blade in my hand. A nice looking knife, a Gil Hibben 1999 Jackal. It could do some pretty damn good cutting on any of those demons walking around. I’m not even sure some of these things are demons, they look way too weird. But weird is okay… I’m a bit weird myself.
A good many things run up to attack me. Pretty, skinny, brown haired girls must be a demon’s favorite treat, or something. But would a demon expect to have it’s ass kicked by one? You heard right. I can kick some demon ass, a lot of demon ass.
Did I mention that I have super strength?
A bulgy, green monster looking thing came running up at me. I stopped in place, and waited for it to come close enough for my foot to be introduced to its ugly face. It fell onto its back. I jumped on its chest; I was half his size. It looked me in my eyes. I could see my reflection in its own beady, little eyes… I scared myself now a days. What am I becoming?
The thing took me by surprise. It wrapped its claws around my waist, and threw me at least a good ten feet away. I bet that I could throw him farther. My weapon had flown out of my hand. I went to reach for it, but the demon dropped its huge foot on my hand. I screamed in pain. I sounded like those citizens the first night L.A. was sent to Hell.
I could hear the bones in my hand cracking. At least that was my right hand; I’m left handed. The monster looked down on me. I could feel his glare hitting into the back of my head. My eyes squinted, and I rounded up the strength to keep fighting. I grabbed its foot with my left hand, and pulled with all my might. The demon fell once more. I pulled my probably broken hand back to me.
I was soon reunited with my knife. And finally my knife was reunited with a demon’s face. I had won… Again. Since the demon was taken care of, I could now inspect my hurt hand. It looked bad, and that means something coming from me. I’m not hurt that easily.
It was time to head back to the headquarters. By headquarters, I mean stupid little apartment that has not been burned down yet.
