I've been planning on going to the annual seattle comicon for a while now but was I excited when I read the press release this a.m
ADAM BALDWIN (Agent John Casey from Chuck, Jayne Cobb from Firefly/Serenity)
Adam Baldwin was born in Chicago, Illinois and has appeared in dozens of films since 1980, including Full Metal Jacket and Independence Day, plus shows such as The X-Files, Men in Black: The Series, Stargate SG-1 and Angel.
He is well known in the sci-fi community for his role as Jayne Cobb in the Firefly TV series and its subsequent sequel movie, Serenity. He currently appears as Agent John Casey on the hit NBC series Chuck
it's may 10th and 11th in seattle. I want an autograph but I feel I should ask a semi intelligent questions, any one going? anyone have a question?
Also...Andy Owens, the inker for buffy season 8 will be there!

I am definatly going there! Last years was amazing, and this year I might actually be working there. Owner of the comic book shop I go to is having a booth there and I might be giving him a hand during it.
He'll be the "Comic Evolution" booth if you want to stop by and check it out.

******update****** just read this this am..
JULIE BENZ has signed on to the Emerald City ComiCon as our as our newest media guest! Julie is taking the place of Laura Vandervoort, who will be unable to appear at the show due to a filming conflict.
Julie is currently appearing as Rita Bennett on the TV series Dexter and is best known in the sci-fi community as Darla on Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
She most recently starred in Rambo alongside Sylvester Stallone and will be starring this fall in the upcoming Punisher: War Zone feature film as Angela Donatelli.

Julie was fun to see at ComiCon, but I got to admit she was pretty apathetic about the whole event. I mean I'm sure she has been to tons of ComiCons in her life so I kind of get why she wouldn't be too excited to have to attend another, but I don't know, it was kind of a let down to see how distant she was during it.
