I've always stayed away from the Buffy books after hearing a lot of bad things, but I decided to try one and I'm currently half way through Go Ask Malice (Faiths Diary).
I have to say, it's amazing! I love it!
What books do you guys recommend if I like Go Ask Malice?

I loved GAM too. I bought it just because it was about Faith and I absolutely love her character, and I was plesantly surprised that it really gave some insight into why she is the way she is, and it wasn't written completely in the young adult prose like most Buffy books are.
I also liked Queen of the Slayers, though I've heard a lot of people don't. I read it a long time after it came out, and even though it was supposed to be "the" continuation of the show before the comics, I just took it for what it was, and enjoyed it.

I am interested in reading Go Ask Malice, but the books that stand out in my mind are Pretty Maids All in a Row and the Tales of the Slayers. I really enjoyed the Tales, because it gave a lot of background information for the Slayer line, etc. There are 4 in that series, so it may take a little bit.

I really liked this one. It gave some background about Faith before she arrived in Sunnydale, whereas before we didn't know that much about her.
I liked Tales of the Slayers, though I haven't read volume 3 yet. I also liked the Book of Fours and Monster Island.

I've been looking into reading Go Ask Malice. I've heard excellent things about it and that it's one of the best Buffy books out there.

love it. This is the only Buffy book I thought was fantastic. I wish it was cannon as it did explain a lot about Faith

Absolutely loved Go Ask Malice. I reread it every so often. It just seems so perfectly Faith in my opinion.

I really loved Go Ask Malice! I loved learning more about Faith's past in the form of a diary.
