So i've been rewatching Buffy S2 and during the episode 'Innocence', how does Angel know to kill Jenny's uncle after losing his soul? i didn't notice anything in the episode that hints at how he would target him or even know about him being in town
any thoughts?

Angelus is no fool. He probably figured that someone would try to reensoul him, so he found Jenny's uncle, then killed him.
