Here's my latest custom. It's been a while since I've made a Buffy custom, so it feels good to be back in the swing of things. The other day I watched the Pylean story arc (best episodes of Angel easily), and I felt that the Cordy figure could be better. And then Maria proved me right The outfit itself is recognizable, but the opening moment of Through the Looknig Glass is that much more memorable. So, I made her sitting. After cutting and gluing and sewing etc, I was happy with her. She's been entirely repainted, but the pics of her face didn't turn out great so I'll have to retake them. Her skin is darker, the silver is tons shinier (special paint) and her skirt if fabric so it has a slighty more natural flow. Whatcha think?

I have to say I really didn't understand why DST didn't made her sitting !! The first moment we saw her after being a slave is when she's sitting on her "chair" ! That's THE moment of the episode !! And you did it perfectly !!! You really captured the moment ! The skirt is also better that way !

I love the addition of fabric to give her dress more flow. The way her legs cross looks very natural, and dare I say, very sexy and feminine. It is miles better than the DST release, good job!

Great work Kenobi! What did you use for the throne (chair)?

Great work Kenobi! What did you use for the throne (chair)? It looks like you took the Charmed series 2 Piper chair and painted it gold. Is that what you did for the throne? I LOVE the fabric on Cordy's skirt! I was thinking of doing that since we first saw prototype pictures of Princess Cordy. It works really well. I've been wanting to see Princess Cordy sitting since she came out. I'm psyched that you created this. I also love that you made an open shirted, human faced Angel. Put a mirror with him and you'll recreate one of my all time favorite Angel the series moments, when Angel obsesses about his hair in the Pylean mirror. I also like that you have put the bookshelf in the display. It adds a lot and it a great place for the Wolf, Ram, and Hart books. My only suggestion would be to make the eyes bigger. I felt like that helped my Pylean Cordy custom look more like Charisma more than anything. Great job! She's really fun.

Thanks Maria! Yeppers, I did use a Charmed chair. Not quite the throne from the episode, but still pretty enough for a princess . I'm really glad you like my display, and I will definitely take the mirror idea in to consideration. Do you happen to know of any that came with 6 inch scale figures? All I have is Miss Piggy's, but that's just a hand mirror . Anyway, I tweaked my Cordy a little. The fabric had some issues, and really started to pick up dust , so I decided to give her a plastic skirt instead. Here are the new pics Thanks guys!

Wow, you got the rubber skirt to work really well!
The Chandra mirror from Rising Stars is perfect for Pylean Angel. I've used it myself and seen others use it. There are lots of them floating around.

I think that she looks amazing. I wish that DST would've made her this poseable or saved her for the Deluxe line so that she could sit like this.
