Well technically its a question about what Season 5 might of been.
As we all know Joss didn't know Angel was being canceled till after they started the season, which forced him too change storylines. Now I read somewhere what some of the storylines were going too be. I was wondering if anyone could verify if these were true or just rumors
1st one I heard was. Nina was originally going to have a bigger part in season 5. Supposedly Oz was suppose too show up and help Nina with her Werewolf side
2nd one I heard was AMy Ackr was originally going to play duel roles. The original storyline had Willow coming into the picture and somehow spliting Fred and Illyria.
Those were the only ones I remember right off hand. I was wondering if thesw were true, and if anyone heard any other storylines Joss had too change due o the sudden cancelation

I'm pretty sure the Fred/Illyria split and Nina's bigger role (with focus on Angel/Nina, if memory serves) were scheduled for Season 6 of Angel, not Season 5. Along with much of the stuff we're currently seeing in Angel: After the Fall.

I remember 4 things they said that was going to happen in season 6.
Angel/Nina would have a much bigger relationship Gunn would a be vamped and be the big bad Fred and Illyria would split and Amy would play dual roles Wesley wouldn't have died.

Those were all things that supposedly Joss had in mind for S6, not S5. According to everything I've ever heard from those involved, the ONLY THING changed in S5 by the cancellation was the fate of Wesley--if the show had continued, he wouldn't have died. That's it. Remember that they were in the middle of filming episode 17, "Underneath", when word of the cancellation came, and were probably even a couple of episodes ahead of that in the writing (18 or 19), so there really wasn't that much time left in the season for it to have much of an effect on what they had planned...

I could of sworn I read that they found out mid-season which forced Joss to go a different route on the show, so I was wondering what route was he going to take originally? I mean heard something about Willow or Oz becoming a regular on a show

I mean heard something about Willow or Oz becoming a regular on a show Season 5 was more or less already planned out when they heard Angel wasn't getting a sixth season. Anything you have heard was more or less what Joss wanted to do in Season 6.

Season 6 could have been cool ass, but I like Season 5 as a show ender. After the Fall is like the best of both worlds (except Gwen is in it lol)
