So Fringe starts tonight. Are you as excited as I am?
I picked up the first prequel comic book the other day (written by Zack Whedon) and it was really good. I can't wait... an hour and a half until the premier.

I'm ecstatic! Fringe will not only fill the Tuesday night void since BTVS ended, but it also seems like it will be one hell of a series.

I liked it...
That being said, it wasn't what I was expecting, nor was it as good as I thought it was going to be. But I had really high expectations....
But it was a great show and will definitely be on my list of shows to watch each week.

My Tuesday nights are officially back for good.
Great pilot, and definitely quite promising. It had some minor irks, but all first episodes, and even first seasons, usually do. Lost Season 1 and Alias Season 1 couldn't stand a chance against later seasons of each series, IMHO.
Anna Torv is just...Anna Torv. Best female lead in a while, and I'm seriously judging just from this first episode. When the writing is really established later this season and later in the series, I believe we'll see some incredible moments from her. There were some flats this episode, but she still managed to amaze me.
As for the story itself, I'm not going to say anything until more people have watched, but as I said before, it seems quite promising thus far.

So... according to Wikipedia ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fringe_(TV_series) ) there will be different actors playing the leads after the first episode.... I hope not. I hate it when they do that kind of stuff!

um anna isnt the best female lead. she actually seems very wrong for the part and that comes from me and my mother whos a screenplay writer.
The editing is spot on it seems like something BBC would produce, and thats a huge compliment.
Maybe its the writing for anna but that was the only real complaint I have.
future episodes will be much better I think. no more introducing and all that stuff.

It was better than I expected. I watched it because I just wanted to see what "Remote Free TV" would be like (and it's amazing, can't wait for it during Dollhouse), and I was pleasantly surprised. There were some yawn-worthy moments, but I'm interested to see what happens next in the story.

So... according to Wikipedia ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fringe_(TV_series) ) there will be different actors playing the leads after the first episode.... I hope not. I hate it when they do that kind of stuff! It just says Kirk Acevedo, Tomas Arana and Mark Valley would be playing main parts in the pilot. Looking at the character names, I don't think they showed up in this first episode. The fringe team won't be changing up. I enjoyed the first episode, it was fun. The plane managed to creep me out. I'll echo what dark said about Anna Torv, right now she just doesn't have the strength to carry a show. Hopefully she learns how as the show progresses.

I think I must be the only one to think that Anna Torv was pretty good. She's not the best actress I've ever seen, but certainly not as bad as it seems everyone thinks she is... maybe I should rewatch the episode.

The Remote Free TV was excellent.
I just watched the first episode. I thought it was really good.
The main character reminded me of a mix of Buffy and Kate Lockely.

Watched it again last night, and it's still seems like it could become one hell of a series. Alias started just as slow - if not even a bit slower - then later seasons - 2, 3, and 5 specifically - were incredible.

I figured it out! She has a hybrid face. Its half "stink face" and half Renee Zellweger!
The face leads to an overembelished sense of drama in her acting. Like everything is confusing and smelly to her..
Again plot and direction were amazing in this episode. If they had the Torchwood cast doing this show......*faints*
