Well I started writing this last night on the spur of the moment after watching a random episode of Buffy that inspired me.
Its nothing tremendous but just something I wrote as a bit of fun.
Iv split it into 4 different parts to make it more managable to read as I know a huge chuck of writing is off putting to read. Im currently writing the last part now so Im thinking Ill just post a new part each day.
Its set during the first half of season 6.
so heres part one:
Part1
“You know what I think?” Xander stated, flipping a book shut defiantly and slamming it on top of a pile of ever growing literature.
Anya jumped in her seat on the other side of the Magic Box’s table, a jolt of shock from Xander’s sudden outburst, pulling her away from the research,
“You mean other than intending to incur the he’be je’bes?”
He continued, blissfully unaware of Anya’s comment,
“Well…” he raised his index finger stoically, ready to enlighten her on his idea of the current mysterious demon threat.
The door to the Magic Box swung open, ripping the bell off it’s hinges, cutting Xander’s point off and grabbing Anya and Giles’ attention. Buffy staggered in hunched over, one arm covering her abdomen in pain.
She glanced down at the broken bell,
“My bad.” As she spoke she looked up, revealing further bruising to her face. Giles stepped forward hurriedly,
“Buffy! What happened?”
“Further badness.”
Anya and Xander joined the other two, distraught expressions spread across their faces.
“Badness?” Anya queried,
“Mucho badness. Some demonically acting demons dressed in…well, dresses,” Buffy puffed, confused.
“Dresses? Demons in dresses?” Xander’s face suddenly lit up excitedly,
“Are we fighting Demons in drag?!” He continued to look at Buffy over-excitedly. She simply pushed past the three of them, staggering over to the table and sitting herself down with a painful sigh. Xander followed her hurriedly, and joined her at the table,
“Cos you know, demons in drag…funny.”
“Well they were more robes than dresses, but what with the concussion and all, thoughts are kinda loopy.” She turned to look at Xander,
“Although demons in drag would be funny. I’m still reeling from the fact that I missed you in a bra,” she gave him a sly grin.
Xander’s face dropped.
“I knew I shouldn‘t have told you about that…”
Anya slammed her hands down on the table angrily,
“Xander wore a bra?! I can’t even get him to wear a goddamn thong!”
“Hey! It was back in high school! And I was…undercover. Infiltrating an evil fraternity!”
Xander shrugged, realizing he couldn’t recover from the situation and muttered reassuringly to himself,
“It was a whole James bond deal, except instead of removing the bras I was putting them on.”
“As fascinating as Xander’s cross-dressing exploits are, can we please press on with the matter at hand.” Giles appeared at Buffy’s side, a wet cloth in his hand which he passed to her for her wounded head.
“Right, pressing matter.” She raised the cloth to her forehead and winced,
“I think I got them all, but they mentioned something about an old foe. Something that didn’t sound to be from the realm of oh happy day.”
Anya folded her arms nervously,
“I’ve never been a fan of lets-reminisce. Especially if that reminisce involves stabbing and gore,” she watched Buffy almost disappointedly.
“An old foe? That could be anybody. The sheer amount of evil we have destroyed in the past few years…” Giles raised a hand to his head, his emotions a mingle of confusion, terror and worry. He continued as he realized his point was only inspiring further fear,
“We need to brace ourselves for anythi -” Giles was cut off, as a compressed pop filled the room, making all their ears drums ring unexpectedly. A blindly white light erupted as the second act and the four of them clasped their eyes shut in pain.
The sudden noise of the books on the table falling and tumbling to the floor alerted them as the light faded and they attempted to open their eyes.
“Whoopsy daisy!”
Buffy snapped her eye-lids open as those two words filled the room. She knew the voice but couldn‘t place it,
“Oh, my.” Xander stuttered, one step ahead of her.
Buffy was dumbstruck,
“Kathy ?!”

So thats part1 for now. Im just proof reading part 2 and 3 and then ill get started on part 4. As I said its just a quick little piece I started last night so dont expect phenomenal writing or earth shattering plot twists.lol.
Cheers for reading and a special thanks to secretscoobie and greer for commenting on my last piece of fic which inspired me to have a go at writing some more.
