Hey All This is a college project. I redesigned the scythe so that it can collapse down, this breaks into 4 pieces. Blade, Shaft with Screws, Leather/ Guard and StakeI made the master pattern from wood, then got it sand casted, polished and powder coated. I made the stake myself and assembled it all etc What do you all think? FYI, i took these pics outside, so the red kinda looks pale, but its deeper red, must be because of the bright light. also, the leather isnt that dark, it just looks dark in the pics Wayne |

Cool replica, I would love to see more of your design process. For me, the build up to the final piece is the best (speaking as an Art + Design student) but your final piece is just...wow.
