It'll be interesting to see what they do with the werewolves in the next Twilight movie. Major problems with the series aside, I thought Meyer did an interesting job with the wolves. They are more bear like than anything else, and massive. Probably not what y'all want, but it's something I haven't seen before.

Hahaha interesting side story about the next Twilight movie. The original director was dropped from the second movie because she wanted more time to do the effects for the wolves for the budget they gave her. The studio politely declined, dropped her, and hired the dude from Golden Compass. I am not looking forward to those effects.

Okay I've voted for 'no'. But not because I don't like Oz or because I think that there is no potential. But the big amount of characters are already driving me nuts at the moment. I can't handle more, especially because I don't like it when interesting characters can't get to do something interesting in a story.

I also don't think they will keep him around too long or else Kennedy will have to go, it's either him or her. And we really don't want Kennedy to go now, do we?

That's only true if Willow and/or Oz are still interested in romance with each other. And I don't think they will be. We've been told that the Willow/Oz/Kennedy triangle will be referred to in the plot, but it won't be an important concern. Which is as it should be... these people have more important things to deal with now than re-living their teenage romantic drama.

But even if the romance is gone, they will have to find a love interest for Oz, that's how stories work. They won't keep him around if he doesn't bring any drama or excitement... so who's up for grabs? Buffy, Dawn? One of the new Slayers?

Maybe he already has someone... another werewolf, possibly? Like Veruca, only not a psycho?

No offence, but I really don't understand this obsession across fandom with coupling everyone off. One of the things I liked about Buffy and Angel was that most of the characters ended up single by the series finale, there wasn't a mad rush to pair everyone off (see the last season of Charmed). Some fans only seem to care about who the characters are dating and very little else. I think it would be cool if Oz was portrayed more as a monk, deep into Eastern sprituality and meditation.

I'm not even certain yet that Oz is going to be on the same side as Buffy & Co., much less ready to rejoin the gang and pick up where he left off. I think it will probably be a friendly reunion, but he will have changed a lot over the intervening years. Look at how much Buffy, Xander, Willow etc. have changed... Oz will have changed at least as much, and he'll have done so apart from them.
I have a feeling some of the old-school fans may be disappointed by this arc. But I'm looking forward to it.

I think a lot of people are expecting Oz to be exactly how he was in high school, and for he and Willow to simply resume their old relationship. No thanks. I'm hoping to see a very different, and more mature, Oz than the one we know. Think how much Cordelia and Wesley changed on Angel... that's how different I want him to be.

I am really excited to see how much Oz will have changed over the course of 4-5 years. Just look how much Spike changed when he left to get a soul. Oz left for similar purposes (to help find some control over his werewolf side), and who knows what he was been up to. Can't wait.

Maybe he has a wereworlf-woman of his own? That would add even more tension.

In defense of Oz fans, which I definitely am one, I am not delusional about the upcoming story. I know he won't be (or at least shouldn't be) exactly the same as when he left. Oz has been gone for quite awhile and that is makes this story so appealing. I really want to know what he has been up to & what kind of person/wolf he has grown into. I won't lie, I'm hoping he'll still be the kind of guy who wants to do the right thing and that his return has more to do with helping Buffy rather than him going against her.
I just don't see why he can't stick around. He doesn't have to be in every issue, he could play a supporting role similar to Andrew or Giles.

Yeah I’m another Oz fan who doesn’t expect him to be exactly like he was in high school. Um why would I? When he showed up in ‘New Moon Rising’ which was only a few months after he left Sunnydale, he was already extremely different. He had gotten into meditation, traded his base (which was pretty much his third arm in high school) so he could continue his journeys and had a notable different in his attire… Less rock’n roll and more hippy. Why would anyone expect him to be the same old Oz like he was back in high school when he already wasn’t in season four?
Willow/Oz has always been my favourite pairing for the girl but I don’t expect anything to happen about it. I do expect it to be referenced and acknowledged, the same way Buffy/Angel is and should be. But Willow is with Kennedy now so I don’t see why people think Oz has a legitimate chance of being with her again? It won’t be the focus of this issue and it shouldn’t be.
