Cobra Starship of the infamous "Fueled by Raman" records is coming out with their 3rd studio album entitled "Hot Mess". the album's first single, "Good Girls Go Bad" was released recently and it features... Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester? yes, apparently she can sing...?
they are most well known for their songs "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)", "Church of White HOt Addiction", "The City is at War", "Guilty Pleasure", and "Kiss my Sass"
here is the song from youtube (it's just the audio with a pic of some random thing... it's surprisingly good!

i love Cobra Starship! i just saw them on tour with Fall Out Boy last Saturday and i'm going to see them again this Saturday. they are so much fun live and i can't wait for their new cd. Pete Wentz Is The Only Reason We're Famous is another good song off their upcoming album. but Good Girls Go Bad is better <3 i keep listening to it over & over again. i like Leighton Meester since i watch Gossip Girl, but this gives me another reason to love her!

I used to love Cobra Starship. I seen them live last year in June, it was a great show. Their new album? Eh, not for me.

I loved their first album. And then I was feeling kind of Meh about the second until I bought it. Then I fell in love. Not a huge fan of what I've heard from the most recent one though. Don't think I'll buy it.

it's definitely not Fueled by Ramen-sounding anymore... i'm a much bigger fan of their more emo-type music, but i do enjoy most of the songs. i just think that after While the City Sleeps, We rule the Streets came out, FbR told them either to stay emo, or go pop/punk and go mainstream... and going mainstream = more $$ it's not surprising that they're sounding more pop-y than they originally did... but they have a keytarist... what do you expect?
