I haven't read the comics in a long while, but I really want to know if the Shanshu storyline was really explained?
Was that the reason Angel was human?
Is he human in the new Aftermath comics?

I have only read uptil issue 1 of aftermath, but from what I know, Angel didn't actually Shanshu(not in the way the propechy made it seemed, all reward-y) W&H turned him human to make Angel weak.
And in issue one of Aftermath, he's a vamp again.
For all I know, the propechy haven't happened yet. Unless the W&H deal was the propechy coming true, but I doubt it.

Angel was turned into a human by Wolfram & Hart in AFTER THE FALL.
As of AFTERMATH #20 the Shanshu is still in play.
