DRAG ME TO HELL (2009)Anyone getting pumped for Sam Raimi's (Evil Dead trilogy, Spider-Man series) new horror film, DRAG ME TO HELL? It looks awesome and is getting a ton of extremely positive early reviews: 18 positive reviews so far on Rotten Tomatoes, and no negatives, so it is at 100% right now. Looks funny, scary and visually stunning, which is exactly the kind of horror movie Sam does so well. I am really happy to see him returning to his roots, as the Evil Dead films are some of my favorites. ::Rotten Tomatoes Page::::IMDB.com Page::

I'm very excited. I have never seen the Evil Dead series, but the trailer for this looks awesome. Wasn't planning on seeing it in theaters, but because the reviews are amazing, I definitely will sometime in the future. Didn't expect it to get this much positive buzz.

Yeah, this looks really good. I will definitely see this at my local movie theater. I never never Sam directed Spider Man until the trailer for this popped up. Thats a crazy transition. I'm glad to see him back. Its also nice to see Justin Long back in a horror flick. I can't wait.
Is that crazy lady a gypsy? If so:
Ilona Costa Bianchi: The Gypsies are filthy people. And we shall speak of them no more! *spits*
Sorry if I chopped that quote up. lol.

I've seen the trailer and some TV spots, but I never knew Sam Raimi is doing it!
Color me intrigued!

Very excited about this. The buzz is amazing and Raimi is usually fantastic. Even my wife wants to see this and she does not like horror movies. She can't deny all off the people at her work talking about it (along with her husband!).

I cannot wait for this! I'm a huge fan of Raimi and the Evil Dead series. Plus, i am gonna be patiently waiting to see Bruce Campbell somewhere in this movie. (i <3 Bruce Campbell !!!) ... I'm glad Raimi is going back to horror, and you can't go worng with a plot about a gypsy curse. I have high hopes for this.

Movie is at a 94% rating now with 32 positive and 2 negative. Not bad at all! This may be one of the best reviewed horror films in a long time.

Ok, everyone needs to get off their computer, get in their car and go see this movie ASAP. This easily ranks as one of the best movie theater experiences I've ever had. It's sick, disgusting, twisted, hilarious and freaking terrifying. One of the greatest horror movies I've ever seen, if not the. So, so, so amazing. Definitely lives up to all the hype it's getting. MAJOR SPOILERS!I'm so beyond pissed off that the previews gave away the end, I was expecting it the entire movie.

This is the best horror movie I have ever seen. Seriously. Sam Raimi has done it again. I hope this is a start of many more of Sam’s horror movies to come. 10 out of 10. This better win some awards. I’m not so sure I like Jenny Calendar anymore. lol. Although I did feel really bad for Christine. Gypsies are harsh! I have a couple questions, if they sacrificed the goat while the Lamia possessed it, would it have been destroyed? What happened to Shaun San Dena’s soul? Do you think it was sent to hell? Since the house was built on mystic energy or whatever, her soul could be anywhere. Yeah, the ending was spoiled by the previews, they did the same thing in Quarantine, but I didn't mind too much.

If you guys liked Drag Me To Hell, you should check out the horror he made about 8 years ago with Cate Blanchett, Keanu Reeves, Giovanni Ribisi, Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes called "The Gift". It is one of the best crafted horror movies I have ever seen, with an excellent realism, pace and beautiful scenery.

I loved the car scene though, the old dear was not taking no shit from her!! that scene was excellent and the way raimi revealed her in the back was a great take on the usually overdone 'baddie in the backseat jumping out'. When she sucked Christines chin with her gums it was hilarious. Best horror Iv seen since Rec. I pretend Quarantine doesnt exist so yeh, this and Rec are the best horrors iv seen in the cinema in yearrss. Oh and The Orphanage.

I saw this today and loved it. It was hilarious, scary and just awesome. I loved how stuff just kept coming out of Ms. Ganush's mouth, whenever Christine saw her. The highlights for me were definitely the scenes in the car garage and the seance later on. Definitely one of the best horror films in a while!
Ganush is definitely one of the best villains in a while too, loved her.
